It will would be necessary to manage the future by concentrating more on the

requirements of society, of culture and the quality of life than on growth alone. This
will entail an enormous and radical process of transformation, which will involve over
and above economy, the entire society, forcing it to an innovative search for new
equilibria. The contribution of entrepreneurs to this process will be of fundamental
importance. The role of the enterprise will be an essential contribution to oin
overcomeing social and economic inequalities if it will be able to become a fulcrum of a
balance between technical-economical progress and the human trend to improve
