Reflections on Observation Task 4: Development of Early Writing Skills

1. What are developmental writing stages the majority of the students in?
- Most of the students, where holding the marker or pencil or the marker not the write way,
and they are felling pains lots in their finger whenever they have lots of works, or if they
are doing an artefact.

2. Describe and explain two (2) suggested strategies that the teacher can use to help the
majority of the students within their developmental writing stage.

- Teacher give lots of work in their fine motor skills, as making collage, cutting, stick,
press hard, and that will help the children to develop their fine motor skills, so they can
hold the pencil first, that is the first step that the teacher does, to make the children can
develop their writing stage.
- The second is making a good environment to the writing, putting words in the board, and
plain paper so they can copy the word that is in the board, also in the writing center, I
wish they has an a small board so whenever see a word in the book, copy the word, that
will develop their writing skills.
