My goal is let the children learn to letter d and know the sound of the letter, knowing words that start
with the letter D.

-Students will have a worksheet that has 5 different picture and they have to color the picture
that start with the letter D.
- This activity is for Medium level students.
Independent Experience (small group activity 3)
- In this area students will find the pictures that start with letter D, and they will make letter
D by pictures.
Time:15 min
In the end of the lesson I will gave each students a white bored and marker, then I will let them to
write or draw what they learn in this lesson, so I can check if they understanding the lesson or not.

I tried my best to deliver the concept of the lesson in easy way, so I start the lesson by telling a story, and
the story it’s all about letter D, I think that the students were focusing on me and a grab their attention
because I used visual strategy which using pictures and the pictures were moving. However, I think that
my voice tone voice has lack of enthusiasm, or when I tell them the story I did not tell them with lots of
excitement, and I was reading fast so that will not make them want to know what the next events of the
story.
After the story we played a game and it was the hidden pictures, that game were successful, because the
students were fully engaged, after that game, I decide to through a ball randomly and let the students to
give me a word that start with letter D, most of the students did not said a new word, that because I did
not give them a time to think or discuss to each other, then I should through the ball and let them answer.
Also, I want to change this strategy to let the students chose who is the next, that will let the students
more excite. After that, I show them a video how to write letter D, and I let them to write the letter in the air
and in the table by using their figures.
The classroom management were good, I used the happy and sad face strategy, when they making noisy
I raise the sad face, and they start to behave, the students were actually listing to me and doing what I
tells them. Moreover, the students were in the activity part enjoying doing the activities and I notice the
students were doing the activities the correct way.
In the end of the lesson, I achieve my aims by cheek the students understanding by using white board to
each one, and let them to write letter D, and I observe each students and if they can to write or not, some
students were struggling with writing so I make for them a dots in a letter D shape and let them to trace it.
