Reflections on Observation Task 3: Supporting Learning through the Performing

Arts: Music and Movement

1. Some people view creative arts education as a luxury and do not help
with the building blocks of child development. In your opinion, what are
the benefits for children who are engaged in creative arts in school?

Engage the creative arts in school is an important thing for early childhood because
of the creative arts its effect on their learning and help them to understand the
lesson or any subject. Also, its help the teacher while teach the students to
understand the concept of the lesson faster when the teacher uses a creative art or
performing art to make it easier for the children to understand and install the
information, and that will encourage the children to improve their thinking when
they see the video and develop their creativity and imagination. Also, that help the
children to improve their fine and gross motor in any subject they are teaching
them. For example, they are many benefit educational way to engaging children in
drama, movement or music activity and all of that help the child to improve their
social when the children communicate with their friends in the class. Also, that helps
the child to speak in front of their friend because children feel nervous or scared
when they talk in front of all class and they think maybe they will be wrong.
