Racial discrimination is when a person is treated less cordially than another person
because of their race, color, descent, national or origin.

The discrimination can be categories several terms but Im talking about few of them

1. Discrimination based on race


2. Discrimination based on religion
3. Discrimination on the basis of gender
4. Discrimination against persons with disabilities
5. Discrimination against People Living with HIV/AIDS

Discrimination on the basis of gender: Today, in terms of Bangladesh, there is a


little opportunity in job sector to do job for female comparing with male. If you see our
engineering department you can imagine the rate of discrimination. A very few amount of
girls be succeed in their future life.

Discrimination against persons with disabilities: Persons, who are unable to do


work, are neglected by our society. They have no abilities. Its not their fault.

Discrimination against People Living with HIV/AIDS: There is a prejudice in the


people that the person, who is living with HIV, is a sinner or like a criminal. So, nobody
talks to him. Even though, nobody wants to meet with him. It is the prejudice of our
society.

Discrimination based on religion: Different Peoples of different religion lives in


Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh is a Muslim Inhabited country. People are from Hindu
religion are more tortured here.

Discrimination based on race: Race or color discrimination can be an important


factor in terms of marriage, media, etc. if you want to be an actress of any south Asian
country, black color is not allowed there.

Everyone has human rights to live their life free of violence, discrimination and abuse, to live as an equal
member of society.
