    1 As you look at the tutorial complete the tasks below:

    1. Explain the process that the diagram illustrates.


    2. Explain to your partner what each of the buttons do.
    3. What do you think happens in each sector?
    4. Can you identify 5 areas in the agricultural sector?
    5. Were you right? What else do you now know?
    6. Can you identify 8 areas in the feedlot sector?
    7. Were you right? What else do you now know?
    8. Can you identify 5 areas in the fast food sector?
    9. Were you right? What else do you now know?
    10.At the headquarters what do you think happens in marketing, the PR office and
    the board of directors?
    11.Were you right? What else do you now know?
    12. What do you think the vice directors job is? (he's the one standing up in the
    board of director's).

    2 Before you play the game discuss these questions with your partner:

    What do you have to do in the game?


    What strategy will you use in the 4 sectors?
    What problems do you think you will have?
    How will you deal with them?

    3 Now you are ready to play the game. After you have played write down 3
    things you would tell a friend who is going to play the game:

    Learners ask each other the questions below while you move the tutorial guide pages
    with the arrow. The numbers on the left of each question tell you which page of the
    tutorial you should be on. Remember to stop on each page long enough for your
    learners to read/ discuss the tutorial.

    NOTE A lot of the reading tasks above ask learners to predict the answer so the
    image on the tutorial should not show the answer. The learners discuss the questions
    and then get shown the tutorial pages with the answer on.

    Allow enough time for learners to discuss the 4 questions before doing feedback in
    open class.

    Play the game either in class time or set it for homework.
