Dear Parents:
Thank you for your interest in our school. Todays Learning
Center is a private school dedicated to serving the needs of
students in preschool through eighth grades. Enclosed please find
the schools philosophy which describes our mission and goals.
Our classes are small by design thus enabling us to truly
understand the needs of our students and individualize our
program to maximize student potential, success, and confidence.
We offer an ambitious academic program and strive to make
learning meaningful for our students. Every class is instructed by
New Jersey State certified teachers. Our ambitious curriculum is
designed to exceed New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards.
Computer, Spanish, physical education, music and art classes are
taught on a weekly basis, and field trips are regularly scheduled
to enrich the students educational experience and enhance our
already progressive curriculum.
We invite you to call us to schedule an appointment to visit at the
school with your child. This is a great opportunity to get better
acquainted with our programs and our caring, dedicated staff, and
observe classes in session.

Philosophy
A philosophy of education is defined as a system for guiding
educational life, a structure upon which to formulate policies and solve
educational problems.

WE BELIEVE THAT..
Each child is an individual with unique learning needs and
extraordinary potential. We are vitally interested in the development
of the whole child.

Our school helps students maximize their potential so they can

interact successfully, productively, and happily with society.

Todays Learning Center shall be responsible for making learning

valuable, challenging, and stimulating.

Students, parents, and faculty shall operate with mutual trust, respect,
and courtesy, and recognize that everyone has a worthwhile
contribution to make to the life and success of the school and its
academic programs.

Todays Learning Centers curriculum shall be designed to surpass

standards established by the educational or general community. The
curriculum is designed to include those items which reflect student
interests, needs, and self in todays society.

We celebrate the differences that make each of our children unique.

INFORMATION TO PARENTS
Todays Learning Center encourages parents to discuss any questions or
concerns about the policies and program of the school. If you suspect our
school is in violation of standards, you may report them to the Department
of Education.

Todays Learning Center has a policy concerning the release of students to

parents or people authorized by parents to be responsible for the student.
Please make sure that if anybody other than you is to pick up your child, all
pertinent information is on file.

Todays Learning Center has a policy about dispensing medicine and the
management of communicable diseases. Please talk to the School Nurse
about these policies.

Todays Learning Center offers parents of enrolled students ample

opportunities to participate in and observe the activities of the school.
Parents wishing to participate in any activity of the school should discuss
their interest with the school director.

Todays Learning Center informs parents in advance of every field trip, or

special event away from the school. Please make sure to sign the
permission slip allowing your child to participate in the outing.

Todays Learning Center has grown to include educational programs in response to

specifically expressed needs of parents and the community, including preschool
through eighth grade, extended care hours covering 7:00AM to 6:00PM.

Preschool (2 to 5 years old)

3 half days $2,900.00
3 full days $3,400.00

Kindergarten - 8th Grade

Extended Day Program

Extended Day Program (7:00AM-6:00PM)
Monday through Friday beyond the scheduled school day.

Payment Schedule
The following fees are due upon registration:
New Student Fee: $175.00(non-refundable) for first year
Returning Student Fee: $150.00(non-refundable) after first year
Deposit Fee: Fee equal to one months tuition installment.*
Instructional Materials Fee: $75.00(non-refundable)
Additional fees will be charged for lost or
damaged school materials.
*The Deposit Fee is due on or before August 15th. The Deposit Fee will be
applied toward the last months installment. The Deposit Fee is not
refundable after August 15th. In case of early withdrawal, you may request
that the Deposit Fee be applied to the last month of attendance, provided such
request is received in writing 30 days prior to withdrawal.
Tuition payments are due on or before the first day of each month of the
school term.

Center the required fees described above. I understand that one months prior
written notice is required to withdraw my child from this program, or I will
pay one months additional tuition upon my childs withdrawal. I understand
that tuition is due on or before the 1st day of each month. I understand that
tuition paid more than 15 days after the due date will be subject to a $25.00
late payment fee, and that tuition paid more than 30 days after the due date is
subject to a $50.00 late payment fee. I understand that tuition is considered
delinquent when in arrears by 60 days or more, and that upon notice and at
the discretion of the Director, my child(ren) may not be allowed to continue
attending Todays Learning Center until either all past due amounts are fully
paid, or partial payment is made along with an approved payment plan for the
remaining balance of past due amounts. I understand that if I anticipate
financial difficulty in making the timely payment of tuition, I should contact
Todays Learning Center so that a meeting may be scheduled to address the
issue and explore a resolution satisfactory to all parties. Upon withdrawal or
termination of my child(ren)s enrollment, tuition will be prorated to the last
school day of the current month.
