Talk Outline: Last month, we have discussed and learned about God as Creator of everything on heaven and on earth. Because of Gods generosity, we were given the task to be the stewards of all His creations as our way of thanking Him. This month, we will be discussing about another gift that God has given us: His Only Beloved Son, Jesus. Who is Jesus? - Flash different images of Jesus one at a time - Ask the kids if Is this Jesus? We have seen different images of Jesus in the activity. (Cite examples of images here: Jesus of Nazarene, Sto. Nino, etc) Jesus has different images to be personal to us. But there is one image that is very close to us, which we are going to discuss now: Jesus as Son of Man, as human. (Show picture of Jesus as human as a baby, as a kid, as an adult) Just like us, Jesus is human too! Even if He is the Son of God, He chose to be like us to be one with us and experience what we are going through as His people. Jesus loves his family! His father, Joseph, is a carpenter while his mother, Mary, was a simple young girl. They lived a humble life and Jesus was even born, not in the hospital, but in a manger! (Show a picture of the Holy Family). Jesus loves his friends! His close friends are His disciples and his best friends are John the Baptist and Lazarus. He always spend time with them. He loved his friends so much that he even cried when he learned about the death of his best friends. Jesus loves to eat! Whenever Jesus is out teaching or visiting the sick, He always eat wedding in Cana, when he was teaching the 5,000 men, when he visited Mary and Martha, and during His last supper. He believed that eating with the people he visits and loves are a good way to build relationship with them. They become comfortable in sharing stories about their lives. And Jesus believed that it is easier to talk to someone when his tummy is full! There are a lot more stories of how Jesus became like us. But what is more important to learn is, even if Jesus is already a Son of God, He chose to be human like us, to know and understand what we are going through. So He can be more personal to us. He experienced what each one of us experienced he laughed, he cried, he slept, he got angry, he loved. All these, he chose to feel so that whenever we are also going through these emotions, we can go to

St. Andrew the Apostle St. Andrew was the brother of St. Peter and they were both fishermen. When St. Andrew first saw Jesus, he followed Him to His house and listened to Him. Then St. Andrew quickly introduced Jesus to his brother St. Peter, saying 'We have found the Messiah!' (John 1:41). After the Resurrection of Jesus, St. Andrew went to preach in the Eastern Roman Empire. The Romans wanted him dead and he requested to be crucified on an x-shaped cross, deeming himself unworthy to die on the same type of cross as Jesus did. St. Andrew's feast day is on 30 November.
Processing/ Conclusion
Jesus came, not only to save us, but to tell us personally that He loved us so much, He is willing to experience what we are experiencing! Let us take comfort in this, that Jesus is one with us in times of joy and difficulties, and that anytime we can go to Him and ask Him to help us be like Him!
