Faith Talk: I will live like Jesus.

TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES

STORY:
Props Needed:

▪ A simple robe or cloth for a child to play Jesus.

▪ A small area is designated as the "temple" (a chair or corner of the room).
▪ A Bible to represent God’s Word.
▪ Optional: A few helpers or teachers should act as the teachers in the temple.

Telling the Story with Interaction:

Start or End with a Song: Use one of these songs at the beginning or end of the
lesson to reinforce the message.
When Jesus was a baby, HE was a good boy, because God was with Him.
Luke 2:40. As He grew, He kept doing good things:
● He loved listening to God’s Word and He asked questions to know more.
Luke 2:47
● He obeyed His parents. Luke 2:51
● He did good everywhere He went. Acts 10:38 [For this age group, ‘good’
means don’t fight, don’t take what is not yours, don’t throw objects at
people, and other relatable actions].
● He likes making people happy.
Conclusion: Have small circles of children, one of the teachers can be Jesus, sitting
in the middle, being an example of a good person, while other children do what
he/she does.
Interactive Moment
Ask the Children questions.

1. Recite the memory verse with the children.

2. Lead the children to Christ using the Wordless book.

e. Gold: you will go to heaven where the street is made of gold.

If you’re kind and you know it, say, “I’m like Jesus!”
