Language Arts with Ms. Textor

This past week in writing, classes have been editing one anothers papers with the correct editing symbols and signs. Students are also in the process of conferencing with the teacher to determine what changes need to be made to create a successful paper. Students began typing up their final copy of their story. Final stories are due on the 21st ELECTRONICALLY ONLY. The classes will have time in class Monday and Tuesday to type their papers. In book clubs, students read chapters five and six. While reading students answered questions about each chapter while looking up their Hunger Games vocabulary words to determine which definition was used in the book specifically. Some book club groups were also taking a look into the origin of specific words and their meanings. Next week students will be quizzed on these chapters.
