Hey Ghoul Hey Fandom Halloween Cards with The Sassy Club

Saturday, November 30, 2024

It's the last day of the month and a Saturday... So you know what that means... The ultimate combo for a Sassy Halloween Saturday! I wanted to really focus on the adorable ghost images from Hey Ghoul Hey stamp set so I just made very simple backgrounds with patterned paper. You can watch my video that I made embedded down below. You can also find my supply list at the bottom of the blog post as well.

I started with die cutting my circle backgrounds, stamped and colored my images, embossed my sentiments and finally assembled the cards. I think these ghosts are just so adorable and I love their mouse ears! The little details of the images really make the stamps and while there's not a lot to these cards, I think they turned out super fun.

Sealed with a Kiss Valentine with Miss Ink Stamps

Friday, November 29, 2024

Happy Fandom Friday, friends! I'm excited to get in the lovey dovey mood with images from Miss Ink Stamps. This pink card with the dark creature in the center just brings me such joy, hah! I hope you enjoy my video for this card today, you can find it embedded down below and my list of supplies at the end of this post.

I started with creating my stenciled panel, then moved onto coloring in my image and then stamping the kisses and sentiment. I die cut my panels with dies from Miss Ink Stamps as well. The Solar Paste skeleton hands in the shape of a heart are my favorite part of the card. I just love the pink glow they give the card! Let me know what fandom you'd like to see from me in the future.

Christmas Polar Bear Card with Scrapbook.com

Thursday, November 28, 2024

I was so excited to receive the Beary Christmas die set from Scrapbook.com and I finally spent some time using the dies to create this cute scene with the two trees and adorable polar bear decorating them. I started with stenciling my panel with the Bricks Stencil with a mix of Cloud Whip and Snowflake Pops of Color. I masked off the bottom of the panel so once the background was dry, I stamped my sentiment. I masked the bottom part of the panel again and added some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide and Spritz.

When that was dry, I adhered a 4x5-1/4" patterned paper panel to my card base and then popped up my stenciled and stamped panel. I die cut the polar bear out white mixed media cardstock (same as the panel) and the polar bear details and trees from the same Snow Days A2 pad as my background. I glued the trees and polar bear together then adhered them to my card with foam adhesive, except for the small tree - that was glued on with liquid adhesive.

I used some soft alcohol markers to add shadow and small details to my polar bear. I then used a black gel pen to add his little eye. To add some highlights, I used a white gel pen to add highlights around the images and sentiment. Finally, I used my Clear Shimmer glitter brush to add glitter to "Christmas" in my sentiment. I hope this card brings you a big, bear hug of a smile to your face today!

Fall Greetings Mushroom Shaker Card with Pretty Pink Posh

Tuesday, November 26, 2024

Thanksgiving is just a couple days away and while I'm about to go full Christmas mode at home and in life (hah!) I wanted to share one more Autumn themed card! When I created this card for Pretty Pink Posh, I really wanted to use all of the mushroom themed products so I started with stenciling the Layered Mushroom Stencils with red inks with the (A) stencil, light brown with the (B) stencil, and stencil paste with the (C) stencil.

Once it was dry, I cut it with the largest Eyelet Rectangle Dies and adhered it to center of an A2 card base. I stamped my sentiment in brown ink on kraft cardstock from the Fall Bouquets Stamp Set and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. Next I built my shaker using the Mushroom Shaker Dies out of red and light brown cardstock and acetate. I think it looks so cute with the Fall Mushroom Clay Confetti! I adhered the shaker to the center of the card and layered the sentiment as well.

How do you feel about mushrooms? Do you love them or hate them? I like looking at them but am not a fan of eating them...

Pink Tree & Bows Box Card with Pretty Pink Posh

Monday, November 25, 2024

I have one of my last box cards that I have been making this year for Pretty Pink Posh and I went a bit... pink! But I think it’s super fun and you can easily switch out the colors I used in the video today with your favorite holiday colors. I started with doing all of my die cutting! I cut the Scallop Box Card Dies base out of a light teal cardstock, scalloped pieces from a cream cardstock and one of the connector pieces of vellum. Next I cut the Fringe Tree Dies from hot pink cardstock for the tree layers (except the largest one) and the trunk of the tree out from cream cardstock. The bow is cut from the Holiday Mug Addition Dies out of glitter cardstock. Finally, I cut the Sentiment Strip Dies from the glitter, hot pink and cream cardstocks.

My sentiment is from the Holiday Scripts Stamp Set and I stamped “to the world” on the smallest sentiment strip in teal ink and “Joy” in pink ink on cream cardstock separately so I could use the Coordinating Die to cut it out. To add more pink to the card, I used the same pink ink as well as an Interference Ink with the Layered Bows Stencils on the scalloped die cut pieces. Now that I have all of my pieces, I assembled the Scallop Box Card with the vellum piece in the center. I added my tree to the vellum and layered my sentiment strips and sentiment to the front of the box card. What do you think of a hot pink tree? Would you want it in your living room - or is it better on a box card? I hope you had some fun with this box card today!

Super Birthday Fun Fold Interactive Card with The Sassy Club

Saturday, November 23, 2024

I created a super birthday card with products from The Sassy Club today! It's Sassy Saturday and I wanted to make sure I get my Craft Roulette project done before I leave for a trip to visit family. I started with making my gate fold card base and added some pattern paper and a panel that I used Distress Oxides and Spritz to make as the sky background. Then I crinkled up some red cardstock with the help of some water and dit cut out my mini brick "walls."

I die cut the rest of my images with colored cardstock and from colors inspired by veggies you see in the produce aisle. For the eyes and centers of the gold coins, I used alcohol markers to color the pieces and glued them back in to the die cuts. Then I stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card. In order to help keep the card closed, I made a band out of acetate and added my stamped image of the Italian hero! He is stamped with alcohol marker friendly black ink and colored in with Ohuhu and Olo Markers.

You'll need to head over to my Instagram today to see how the card becomes interactive because of the acetate band. It looks like he's flying up and down on the card! Let me know how you think I did with the Craft Roulette parameters and hope you have a Sassy Saturday.

Woodland Critters Birthday Card with Simon Hurley create.

Friday, November 22, 2024

I'm so excited with how cute this birthday card turned out! I have a quick video down below featured on the Ranger Ink Instagram, but I am only showing mostly how my background came together. I started with hot foiling my sentiment and used the coordinating die to cut it out. Next I stamped my images and colored them in with alcohol markers, then cut them out with their coordinating dies.

I started with an A2 white cardstock panel and ink blended green and brown inks. Then I stamped my background images and I used some A2 nesting dies to cut out a smaller panel. I adhered the smaller panel to a die cut panel of brown cardstock. I glued the frame created from the background onto the card base and adhered the panel to other card. Then I glued down my images and sentiment down. I just love how sweet this card turned out - make sure to go comment on Ranger's Instagram so they keep having me make videos!

Mischief Maker Cards with Kindred Stamps - New Release!

Happy Fandom Friday and new release from Kindred Stamps! I was so excited to be assigned this new stamp set called Mischief Maker and I created three cards with this new stamp set. I'm going to really just go over the two cards below as my light up card is featured in my video down below. You can see how I color all three characters with Olo Markers in my video, too.

The card on the left I used some retro patterned paper for my background and used the TV Die from Kindred Stamps to create screen with an embossed sentiment. I made my own timeline with a copper marker and a white gel pen. The card on the right features a fun variant of this mischief maker and I used fun pattern paper from Kindred Stamps with a basic layout.

I'd love to know what sets you're grabbing from the new release! If you feel so inclined, my links below are my affiliate with Kindred Stamps and I'll definitely be grabbing a few other sets myself. Thanks for watching this week's Fandom Friday video!

Christmas Tree with the Nutcracker Bundle from Scrapbook.com

Thursday, November 21, 2024

There's a new deal at Scrapbook.com today! There is a bundle that includes a new paper pad, Nutcracker, in A2 size, a stamp set and coordinating die, and a decorative die set. While I don't have the cute nutcracker die set, I love the images from the paper pad and I made my own tree with ornaments from the stamp set. I kept the card pretty simple as I wanted the paper and stamp sets to shine on the card.

I picked a pattern paper and trimmed it down to 4x5-1/4" and distressed the edges with a light brown ink. I adhered it to a pink panel. I splattered on some pink glitter to the background to bring in some shine. I died cut the tree and adhered it to the card with thin foam adhesive. I stamped my sentiment, bows and ornaments and popped them up on the tree. I used the clear glitter brush marker to add some shine to the ornaments after I colored them in.

For some final touches, I added some Pops of Color around the tree. I think the pastels are just so pretty and I hope you snag this deal while you can!

Happy Fall with Hello Bluebird Stamps

Wednesday, November 20, 2024

As we're approaching the winter season, but I'm still clinging to autumn with this fall card using product from Hello Bluebird stamps! These products are from their last set of kits, so unfortunately these products are not currently available. But I'm sure you have some fall themed squirrels and leaves in your stash! Which is one of the reasons I love being a part of the Oh So Inspired Collaboration Team - really encouraging everyone to use your own products and be inspired for cards you see on social media.

You can hop along with the OSIC Team by watching my video on YouTube below - my description box has that playlist ready to go for you. I used the inspiration for this month when picking my products (leaves) and colors (pink, orange, yellow and brown). I hope you like my take on the inspiration this month and I cannot wait to hop along myself to see what everyone has made.
