This is the image that was cut out with the same Stitched Seasons Framelits (available Aug. 1st) that left the lovely stitched frame for this card. See how the label die puts stitches on both pieces of cardstock? LOVE IT!
There were some extra stamped images from Very Vintage leftover from a swap, so I put the "useful bits" to good use with this congrats card. I like to recognize achievements by my stamping team members, so this one went to the top seller for June. I hope she liked it, and knows how much I appreciate her!
A little bit of Clear Wink of Stella made the bee's wings shine, and a label from the Stitched Labels Framelits was added....can't help it; I loved the stitched look!
I'm enjoying Mom's visit very much. She is doing much better than the last time she was here, so it's nice to be able to enjoy her company without the constant worrying. We plan to visit a farm-to-table place this week and check it out. There is supposed to be milk, various cheeses, and ice cream from local farms, as well as eggs, veggies, honey, and other goodies. We try to support LOCAL family farms as much as possible, even if it costs a little more. The quality and freshness more than make up for it! Since my tomatoes are still small and green, but the jalapeños are producing, I may get some tomatoes and make salsa.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Right now the weather is very nice here - not too hot and humid. I know that will change soon, so I'm enjoying it while I can.
