This paper investigates the dynamics of the engine driveline system for achieving accurate and online diagnostics of engine conditions using instantaneous angular speed (IAS). Based on a state space modelling approach and key structures of the system, a torsional vibration model is developed and its modal properties: modal frequency, damping ratio and shapes are evaluated. Then taking the output data from the model as the input a latest stochastic subspace identification (SSI) method was implemented and result shows that the SSI approach is sufficiently accurate to extract these modal properties. Moreover, experimental studies show that the SSI approach can correctly extract modal properties under the low frequency range of interest based on just the transient IAS data acquired during engine shutdown, which confirms the theoretical analysis and provides the basis for the subsequent IAS based diagnosis development in which modal characteristics will be taken into account.

Small-scale irrigation systems are crucial for enhancing agricultural productivity in developing regions but often face challenges such as sediment accumulation and inadequate flood management. This study evaluates the hydraulic and structural performance of the Abegaz small-scale irrigation scheme in South Gondar, Ethiopia, focusing on discharge capacity, sediment control, and weir stability. The primary objectives of this research were to assess the hydraulic performance of the diversion weir and associated structures, examine the structural stability and integrity of the weir, and identify maintenance needs and operational challenges affecting long-term sustainability. Through field measurements and analysis of design documentation, we gathered primary and secondary data, which were analyzed using empirical equations to evaluate the weir's current condition. The findings revealed that sediment accumulation raised the riverbed by 0.6 m at the intake, reducing the weir's height from 1.2 to 0.6 m, which impairs its ability to regulate water flow. The diversion weir's discharge capacity was 48.52 m 3 /s, slightly below the design flood capacity of 50.07 m 3 /s, indicating vulnerability during extreme flood events. Structural evaluations confirmed the weir's stability. The safety factor for overturning was 1.51 at high flood levels (HFL) and 2.40 at normal pool levels (NPL), exceeding the minimum required value of 1.5. The safety factor for sliding was 1.21 at HFL and 2.96 at NPL, exceeding the minimum required value of 1. Stress analysis at the heel showed maximum stress of 13.85 kN/m 2 at NPL, and at the toe, 19.54 kN/m 2 at NPL, both well below the allowable limit of 490 kN/m 2. Additionally, the eccentricity values were 0.06 m at HFL and 0.078 m at NPL, both less than the permissible limit of B/6 (i.e., 0.425). These findings highlight the need for improved sediment management strategies and potential design modifications to enhance flood resilience. This research offers valuable insights for optimizing small-scale irrigation systems facing sedimentation issues and provides guides for future studies and design improvements.

Understanding the adaptive function of the unique morphology of the human eye, in particular its overexposed white sclera, may have profound implications for the fields of evolutionary behavioural science, and specifically the areas of human interaction and social cognition. Existing hypotheses, such as the cooperative eye hypothesis, have attracted a lot of attention but remain untested. Here, we: (i) analysed variation in the visible sclera size in humans from different ethnic backgrounds and (ii) examined whether intraspecific variation of exposed sclera size is related to trust. We used 596 facial photographs of men and women, assessed for perceived trustworthiness, from four different self-declared racial backgrounds. The size of the exposed sclera was measured as the ratio between the width of the exposed eyeball and the diameter of the iris (sclera size index, SSI). The SSI did not differ in the four examined races and was sexually monomorphic except for Whites, where males had a larger SSI than females. In general, the association between the SSI and trustworthiness was statistically insignificant. An inverted U-shaped link was found only in White women, yet the strength of the effect of interaction between sex and race was very small. Our results did not provide evidence for the link between exposed sclera size and trustworthiness. We conclude that further investigation is necessary in order to properly assess the hypotheses relating to the socially relevant functions of overexposed sclera.

Cet article propose un nouveau modèle de contrôle d'accès pour les applications complexes, hétérogènes, interopérables et distribuées : " Multi-OrBAC " (pour MultiOrganization-Based Access Control). Ce modèle permet de spécifier, dans un cadre homogène, plusieurs politiques de sécurité pour des organisations hétérogènes devant coopérer. Le but est d'offrirà chacune de ces organisations une certaine souplesse (par exemple, sur le choix d'une plate-forme, de services, de mécanismes) tout en respectant les contraintes imposées par une politique globale de sécurité. Multi-OrBAC est un modèle offrant deux présentations complémentaires, une présentation de type génie-logiciel-avec UML-destinéeà la mise en oeuvre, et une présentation formelle-avec la programmation logique par contraintes (PLC)-destinéeà la validation. La PLC est utilisée pour spécifier les règles de fonctionnement du système ainsi que les règles de la politique de sécurité. Elle sertégalementà interroger la politique de sécurité, détecter et résoudre les conflits, vérifier la cohérence de la politique et gérer les problèmes de hiérarchie et de délégation. A differenza di quanto avviene nei mercati dei beni e servizi tradizionali, studi recenti documentano come la competizione del mercato basata sulla ricerca del massimo profitto non sia sufficiente per individuare con chiarezza la qualità dei SPPU (Borgonovi, 2002). Numerose ragioni stanno all'origine di questa affermazione: nei settori tipici del welfare spesso l'utente non è libero di scegliere l'agente, vi sono vincoli istituzionali, sindacali e corporativi, ed infine vengono introdotte regole etiche che limitano le modalità della concorrenza a tutela dei diritti e della sicurezza degli utenti, cosicché in tali settori si parla di "quasi mercati". The assessment of seismic responses of buildings in dynamic-soil-pile-structure interaction problems has been one of the main interests among researchers in recent decades. Simulating such problems is usually done by two-dimensional models to overcome the difficulties encountered in 3D models. Commonly, piles were represented by plate elements of infinite length, disregarding the soil flowing between piles. Recently, Plaxis-a finite element software-implemented a new feature known as "the embedded pile row" that allows the definition of piles' out of plane spacing in a 2D model. Many researchers proved its validity in accurately simulating the real 3D pile's behavior. The objective of this paper is to detect the reliability of modeling the piles as plate elements, by comparing the performance of the structural-pile system with the plate feature to that with the embedded pile row feature. A series of 2D finite element models are generated while varying the soil type, the earthquake frequency content, and the out-of-plane piles' spacing. This paper demonstrated that the building response with piles modeled as plate elements is just adequate when the surrounding soil is dense. Yet, regarding the pile response, the plate feature is unable to capture the real behavior for all soil types.

Diare masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, karena angka kesakitannya tinggi dan berpotensi untuk menyebabkan kematian, terutama apabila pengelolaan penderitanya terlambat dilakukan, faktor penunjang terjadinya diare antara lain sanitasi lingkungan yang buruk. Di Desa Penengahan jumlah kejadian diare balita tahun 2010 sebanyak 44 kasus (2,1%) dan tahun 2011 meningkat 2 kali lipat lebih besar, yaitu menjadi 97 kasus dengan IR 39,4 % dari target penemuan kasus diare pada balita di Desa Penengahan sebesar 64 kasus dengan IR 26,0 %. Background Postoperative surgical site infections are a recognized complication following craniotomies with an associated increase in morbidity and mortality. Several studies have attempted to identify bundles of care to reduce the incidence of infections. Our study aims to clarify which perioperative measures play a role in reducing surgical infection rates further. Methods This study is a retrospective audit of all elective craniotomies in years 2018 to 2019. The primary endpoint was the surgical site infection rate at 30 days and 4 months after the procedure. Univariate analysis was used to identify factors predictive of postoperative infection. Results 344 patients were included in this study. Postoperative infections were observed in 5.2% of our cohort. No postoperative infections occurred within 4 months in patients receiving perioperative hair wash and intrawound vancomycin powder. Correlation between the density of flies (Musca domestica) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five years in the settlements around the Disposal Area of Garbage Namo Bintang Kecamatan Pancur Batu Kabupaten Deli Serdang in 2012. Diarrhea is a disease indicated by the increase in number of defecation more than usually (three or more a day) for less than 14 days associated with the changes in shape and consistency of feces of the patients. The present study intented to know the correlation between the density rate of flies and the incidence of diarrhea around the Disposal Area of Garbage. The design of the study was an analytic descriptive using cross-sectional design with 60 samples of household with infants. The data were collected by measuring the density rate of flies, interview, and observation. The data were analyzed by using univariate statistic test and then followed by bivariate test by using chi-square (X 2). The result of the study showed that there was a significant correlation between the density of flies and the incidence of diarrhea in infants. It could be indicated by the sig-p (0.0001) ≤ 0.05. The other factors that had significant correlation to the incidence of diarrhea included attitude of the mothers in washing their hands p=0.0001 ((p≤0.05), their attitude in closing the food p=0.0001 (p≤0.05), using the clean water p=0.0001 (p≤0.05), and using the drinking water p=0.0001 (p≤0.05). The conclusion of the study was that there was a correlation between the density of flies and the incidence of diarrhea in infants. Therefore, it was suggested to the mothers of infant to install the screen on the window and ventilation, improving the sanitation around the Disposal Area of Garbage.

Perubahan iklim berdampak pada perubahan musim yang tidak menentu menimbulkan tingginya tingkat kerusakan lingkungan dan masalah kesehatan bagi masyarakat yang mengalaminya. Kondisi Kalimantan Selatan cenderung mengalami bencana banjir, kekeringan, kabut asap, dan angin puting beliung. Ancaman perubahan musim yang tidak menentu akibat perubahan iklim dapat menjadi pemicu munculnya gangguan status kesehatan, psikososial, dan emosional yang signifikan pada seseorang yang terdampak langsung dengan perubahan musim. Surutnya air sungai pada musim kemarau dan rawan banjir pada musim penghujan, perubahan iklim dan musim yang tidak menentu saat ini dapat dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat yang tinggal di bantaran sungai. Dimana masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar atau bantaran sungai memenuhi kebutuhan hidup serta aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari bergantung dan bersentuhan langsung pada sungai untuk dimanfaatkan. Sungai Martapura merupakan salah satu sungai terpanjang di Kalimantan Selatan dan banyak masyarakat tinggal dibantarannya. Sehingga perlu diteliti mengenai perubahan musim pada masyarakat yang tinggal di bantaran sungai pada perspektif status kesehatan dan psikososial masyarakat. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Jumlah sampel 100 orang warga desa Keliling Benteng Ulu yang tinggal dibantaran sungai Martapura. Data penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dipresentasikan dalam bentuk tabel dan diagram. Hasil yang didapatkan 54 orang (54%) berjenis kelamin perempuan, pendidikan Sekolah Dasar 44 orang (44%) dan 52 orang (52%) mengalami gangguan tidur.

Diare didefinisikan sebagai suatu gangguan pencernaan yang memiliki ciriciri yaitu BAB (Buang Air Besar) sejumlah 3 kali bahkan lebih selama satu hari yang menghasilkan konsistensi feses yang encer juga disertai darah. Berdasarkan data dari Kemenkes RI tahun 2013, prevalensi tertinggi penyakit diare ini lebih banyak diderita oleh balita terutama pada rentang usia 0-1 tahun sebesar 7% dan rentang usia 1-4 tahun sebesar 6,7%. Berdasarkan data tersebut diare masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia. Diare bisa mengakibatkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak menjadi terhambat. Bahkan jika diare tidak segera ditangani dengan benar dapat menyebabkan kematian. Tujuan: Melihat dan mengetahui faktor risiko penyakit diare pada bayi dan balita di Indonesia. Metode: Metode dalam penelitian ini ialah Systematic Review dengan melalui artikel relevan yang didapatkan dari Google Scholar, yaitu artikel mengenai kejadian penyakit diare dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 36.437 (antara 60-14.752). Hasil dan Pembahasan: Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi diare yaitu, faktor ibu, faktor bayi dan balita, faktor perilaku, faktor vektor serangga, serta faktor lingkungan. Kesimpulan: Dilihat dari hasil yang sudah diteliti, diketahui bahwa faktor bayi dan balita, faktor perilaku, dan faktor lingkungan menjadi faktor yang sering muncul terhadap penyebab diare. Sedangkan kualitas penulisan akademik yang sudah ditinjau belum cukup memadai. Diharapkan kedepannya akan lebih banyak penelitian mengenai diare dengan informasi dan data terbaru, sehingga kualitas penulisan akademik lebih memadai.

The article focuses on the problem of information retrieval in the mathematical scientific articles. Issues related to scientific publication "in the scientific information environment" are considered. The possibilities of expanding the search query in the presence of a subject domain thesaurus are discussed. The formulation of an information request in specific subject domains is not always possible for an insufficiently competent user. The query expansion process is of particular importance for subject domains, where the search is based on special terminology. Automatic query expansion can serve as a necessary tool with which the user can get a pertinent search result. Mathematical texts are differed by the presence of a specific structure and the use of formulas. Formulas can often reflect the main results of research and therefore it is important to be able to use them in an advanced query. Modern programming tools allow you to search by formulas and use them for indexing. It is proposed to include formulas in mathematical thesauruses and in this way to create a context of formulas for their effective inclusion in search queries. The role of the context defined by the relations of thesaurus concepts is both to refine the query and to increase the scale of the sample on request. Examples are implemented for subject areas of ordinary differential equations, equations of mixed type, special functions of mathematical physics, etc.

The paper analyzes the statistical and temporal seasonal and decadal variability of the atmospheric pressure field in the Arctic region of Russia. Schemes for the frequency analysis of probability transitions for characteristics of stochastic-diffusion processes were used as the main research method. On the basis of the given series of 60 years long from 1948 to 2008, such parameters of diffusion processes as the mean (drift process) and variance (diffusion process) were calculated and their maps and time curves were constructed. The seasonal and long-term variability of calculated fields was studied as well as their dependencies on a discretization of the frequency intervals. These characteristics were analyzed and their geophysical interpretation was carried out. In particular, the known cycles of solar activity in 11 and 22 years were revealed. Numerical calculations were performed on the Lomonosov-2 supercomputer of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Malaria adalah masalah serius yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan. Kecamatan Keling adalah salah satu daerah endemis. Desa Jugo adalah desa di Kecamatan Keling yang memiliki kasus kejadian malaria cukup besar yaitu 78 kasus pada tahun 2002. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan kejadian malaria di Desa Jugo Kabupaten Jepara tahun 2002. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian survei dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Populasi adalah semua masyarakat Desa Jugo yang pernah menderita malaria pada peroide tahun 2002 yaitu sebanyak 78 responden. Sample sebanyak 35 responden yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa faktor yang diduga berkaitan dengan kejadian malaria di Desa Jugo antara lain: rendahnya tingakt pendidikan yang menunjukkan rendahnya pengetahuan terhadap kesehatan dan faktor-faktor yang dapat mengakibatkan sakit dalam hal ini penyakit malaria, faktor kebiasaan yang tidak baik yang memungkinkan terjadinya penyakit malaria, dan faktor lingkungan yang berada di sekitar organisme yang mempengaruhi tingkat penularan dan terjangkitnya penyakit malaria. Dari hasil penelitian disarankan agar petugas kesehatan berkenan memeberikan penyuluhan kepada seluruh masyarakat Desa Judo tentang segala yang berkaitan dengan penyakit malaria sehingga kemungkinan terserang penyakit malaria akan lebih kecil.

On-Board Computers (OBCs) for Small-satellite missions are typically required to be designed using industrial grade Commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) components due to budget constraints and short mission duration. The OBC must provide a variety of interfaces due to the diverse nature of COTS subsystems having different interface definitions. Traditional OBC designs with standard microcontrollers have fixed interfaces that require modification of the motherboard circuit/layout when the external interfaces require changes. Thus, a possible solution is to have an FPGA in-addition to the micro-controller thereby providing a configurable interface capability. System-on-Chip (SoC) devices that integrate a microcontroller with FPGA fabric provide an ideal solution for reducing the development time. Additionally, the limited availability of power in small satellite missions makes it essential to use power-efficient devices. Furthermore, single event upsets (SEUs) and single event latch-up (SELs) are a major problem for OBCs designed for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) small-satellite missions. Flash memory-based FPGAs provide the benefit of low power consumption and they are more also fault-tolerant due to their intrinsic robustness against induced single event upsets compared to SRAM-based FPGAs. This article describes the OBC developed using the flash-based Microsemi SmartFusion2 SoC FPGA as its key component, for the INSPIRESat-1 and INSPIRESat-2 small-satellite missions. The OBC is designed in two form factors one with 13cm x 10cm dimensions for INSPIRESat-1 and the other with 10cm x 10cm dimensions for INSPIRESat-2. The OBC uses a COTS System-on-Module (SoM) developed by Emcraft containing the SmartFusion2 SoC, which is mounted on a custom-designed motherboard containing other peripherals including flash memory, SD Cards, and an external watchdog timer. The OBC has a total power consumption of approximately 1 W, in the final flight configuration. The article here describes the architecture of the OBC in detail, the key features of which include multiple on-board memories, a multi-level reset methodology, and reconfigurable input/output interfaces. The article concludes with the details of comprehensive performance tests conducted on the INSPIRESat-1 OBC, which has qualified TRL-8 (technology readiness level) status after completing required environmental tests such as the Thermal Vacuum Test (TVAC) and vibration test as a part of the integrated satellite. INSPIRESat-2 was launched in January 2021 and due to the successful working of the OBC in fight it has achieved TRL-9 status through this mission. The OBC developed for INSPIRESat-1 is planned to achieve TRL-9 status after its launch in the third quarter of 2021.

Diversion weir structures are constructed to withdraw a portion of the stream flow to meet the different water demands to the required place and quantity. These structures, though physically seem small pieces of engineering work, the consideration for structural analysis makes their design complex. Primary data included field observations and measurements, while secondary data included design documentation. In the design, the summation of vertical forces (shear resistance) was more than the summation of horizontal forces (Fh) in the dynamic and static case in the Basaka diversion weir. For this reason, the factor of safety against sliding was determined to be 5.9 and 4.3 respectively which is greater than the optional value (i.e.1). In the design, the resisting moment (Mr) is greater than that of the destabilizing moment (Md) in the dynamic and static case in the Basaka diversion weir. For this reason, the factor of safety against overturning was determined to be 2.5 and 2.1 respectively which is greater than the optional value (i.e.2); this indicates that the weir was safe against overturning. Basaka diversion weir was checked for stability against overstressing for dynamic and static conditions on the site at the time of the study is 0.34 and 0.29 respectively; the result indicates that the structure was safe against tension for the selected condition which is greater than the optional value (i.e. B/6) at designed bottom width. Performance evaluation revealed that the designed weir cross-section of Basaka was accommodating peak flood. In general, the constructed weir has no more engineering design problems that cause low performance but with a lack of well scheme administration, the major problems occurred as field observation results indicate.

Diare dan Infeksi Saluran Pernafasan Akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu penyumbang terbanyak pada kasus kematian dan kesakitan anak balita di dunia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan adanya pengaruh dari penilaian seorang ibu untuk memberikan penanganan awal di rumah yang tepat pada anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa hubungan persepsi ibu terhadap kegawatan diare dan ISPA dengan tatalaksana diare dan ISPA yang dilakukan ibu di rumah. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsi korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 84 ibu dengan menggunkaan kuesioner tertutup. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui purposive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji Spearman Rank Correlation untuk diare dan uji Pearson Correlation untuk ISPA. Hasil adanya hubungan bermakna antara persepsi ibu terhadap kegawatan diare dan ISPA dengan tatalaksana diare dan ISPA yang dilakukan ibu di rumah pada anak balita dengan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05. Penelitian ini dapat menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi kegawatan diare dan ISPA dengan tatalaksana diare dan ISPA di rumah. Berdasar hasil penelitian diharapkan tenaga kesehatan mampu meningkatkat persepsi yang tepat dari ibu sehingga mampu untuk meningkatkan tatalaksana dirumah.

Gearboxes are frequently used in the mining industry, especially for power transmission between the electric drive and the ball mill; besides the extreme complexity of a ball mill gear transmission system, the fault diagnosis by vibration analysis can be easily distorted by the presence of impulsive noises due to the ball pulses on the mill shell. Although several works in the literature are related to the influence of an impulsive noise on the accuracy of the diagnosis, no dynamic model exists yet in the literature that can explain the influence of these forces on the dynamic behavior of gearboxes. In recent years, OpenACC has been used in many supercomputers and attracted many non-computer science specialists for parallelizing their programs in different scientific fields, including weather forecasting and simulations. OpenACC is a high-level programming model that supports parallelism and is easy to learn to use by adding high-level directives without considering too many low-level details. Testing parallel programs is a difficult task, made even harder if using programming models, especially if they have been badly programmed. If so, it will be challenging to detect their runtime errors as well as their causes, whether the error is from the user source code or from the programming model directives. Even when these errors are detected and the source code modified, we cannot guarantee that the errors have been corrected or are still hidden. There are many tools and studies that have investigated several programming models for identifying and detecting related errors. However, OpenACC has not been targeted clearly in any testing tool or previous studies, even though OpenACC has many benefits and features that could lead to increasing use in achieving parallel systems with less effort. In this paper, we enhance ACC_TEST with the ability to test OpenACC-based programs and detect runtime errors by using hybrid-testing techniques that enhance error coverage occurring in OpenACC as well as overheads and testing time. Cette méthodologie permet l'évaluation des processus critiques portant atteinte à la continuité d'activité de l'entreprise ou à son image. L'outil opérationnel a été mis en place en réponse à un besoin interne et externe.

This paper deals with the dynamic steady-state force-displacement relationships (impedance) for rigid foundations of arbitrary shape resting on a semiinfinite medium consisting of homogeneous, isotropic, linear elastic materials using boundary element method (BEM). An elaborate numerical technique is used to calculate Green's function, yielding a highly accurate numeric approximation in an explicit form. By using a BEM formulation for triangular elements (linear and infinite shape function) compliance of rigid massless surface foundations was obtained. The use of triangular elements causes stress continuity between elements to be satisfied. Meanwhile, the tendency for foundation edge stresses toward infinite can be modeled by using these triangular infinite stress elements. As a result of this, computations are more accurate but less time-consuming. This procedure is used to evaluate the vertical rocking compliance functions for rigid rectangular, circular, and square foundations with internal holes. Finally, comparisons are made between the results obtained from the proposed approach and those from other methods.

The paper analyzes the statistical and temporal seasonal and decadal variability of the atmospheric pressure field in the Arctic region of Russia. Schemes for the frequency analysis of probability transitions for characteristics of stochastic-diffusion processes were used as the main research method. On the basis of the given series of 60 years long from 1948 to 2008, such parameters of diffusion processes as the mean (drift process) and variance (diffusion process) were calculated and their maps and time curves were constructed. The seasonal and long-term variability of calculated fields was studied as well as their dependencies on a discretization of the frequency intervals. These characteristics were analyzed and their geophysical interpretation was carried out. In particular, the known cycles of solar activity in 11 and 22 years were revealed. Numerical calculations were performed on the Lomonosov-2 supercomputer of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Introduction : Food poisoning is a public health problem in Indonesia. During the years 1997-2001 there were 189 times the reported outbreaks of food poisoning. Kuningan regency is one area that is often experienced outbreaks of food poisoning. On February 20, 2014, food poisoning outbreak had occurred on the children's birthday party in Kuningan. The investigations were conducted to obtain information about transmission source and risk factors affecting the outbreaks. Methode : The study design were descriptive and analytic with Retrospective Cohort design. Ill subject is defined as people who consume food derived from children's birthday party and have clinical symptom of food poisoning. Healthy subject is defined as people who consume food derived from recitation activity, but no clinical symptom of poisoning. Statistical test used was Chi-square (bivariat). Results: The number of food poisoning case were 87 with dominant clinical symptoms: 100% Vomiting, Nausea 77.01%, 42.52% Headache, Diarrhea 29.88%, 11.49% Fever. The shortest and longest incubation periods were 1 and 11 hours. The highest attack Rate (AR) of the food in case group was rice (92.3%), Statistical analysis showed that risk factors related to food poisoning outbreak were consuming rice cake (p-value: 0,0001; RR: 1,62). Laboratory result indicated that there were Escherichia Coli bacteria in rice and mie. Conclusion: Food poisoning outbreak was caused by rice cake which was contaminated by Escherichia Coli bacteria. Perilaku higiene dan sanitasi cuci tangan pakai sabun merupakan investasi kesehatan yang paling murah dan efektif untuk mencegah timbulnya berbagai penyakit. Cuci tangan pakai sabun adalah hal kecil namun berdampak besar bagi kesehatan manusia. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, kemampuan serta peran aktif PKK, dasawisma dan masyarakat tentang higiene dan sanitasi cuci tangan pakai sabun sehingga dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan model partisipatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menggambarkan perilaku penduduk mengenai higiene dan sanitasi dalam menerapkan cuci tangan pakai sabun. Simpulan dalam pengabdian ini 1) Pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan higiene dan sanitasi cuci tangan pakai sabun. 2) Responden menyadari bahwa dengan mencuci tangan pakai sabun dapat mencegah timbulnya berbagai penyakit. 3) Responden memahami dan mengetahui kegunaan serta waktu penting tantang cuci tangan pakai sabun. Early cranioplasty has been associated with subdural and epidural fluid collections, seizure, recurrent brain edema, and hydrocephalus. On the other hand, some authors reported that delayed cranioplasty was also a risk factor of infection with allograft bone 29). We investigated whether early surgery, defined as cranioplasty performed within 90 days, was associated with a lower rate of infection. We also analyzed several factors which might influence the infection rate after cranioplasty.

Surgical site infection (SSI) is an infection at the part of the body that was exposed by a surgeon during an operation. SSI is one of the most common and most preventable nosocomial infection among other nosocomial infections, but the incidence of surgical site infections especially in abdominal surgery still shows a significant burden. Risk factors of surgical site infections include old age, type of surgical wound, comorbidities, inadequate prophylactic antibiotics, nutritional statuses, and long duration of surgery. This study aimed to explain an overview of the incidence of postoperative abdominal wound infection in Abdul Wahab Sjahranie General Hospital, Samarinda. This research method was a laboratory descriptive study. The research data was taken from surgical wound swabs and medical record data of 40 post-abdominal surgery patients who made the bandage changes for the first time and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed 30 patients (75%) had surgical site infections. The highest percentage of infected patients aged over 40 years, i.e. in 15 people (37.5%). Most of the infected patients had clean contaminated wounds, i.e. in 23 patients (57.5%). The majority of infected patients did not have concomitant diseases, i.e. 27 people (67.5%). Gram-positive bacteria, specifically Staphylococcus epidermidis was the most infectious bacteria identified in 10 patients (33.3%). All infected patients, i.e. 30 patients (75%) received prophylactic antibiotics. The highest frequencies of infected patients had normal nutritional status, i.e.17 patients(42.5%), and the incidence of infection was more common in patients with duration <120 minutes, i.e. 20 patients (50%)

Infeksi luka operasi (ILO) adalah infeksi pada bagian tubuh yang terpapar oleh ahli bedah saat prosedur invasive. ILO merupakan salah satu infeksi nosokomial yang paling umum dan paling dapat dicegah diantara infeksi nosokomial lainnya, namun kejadian infeksi luka operasi terutama pada bedah abdomen masih menunjukkan beban yang signifikan. Pada penelitian ini, masalah yang akan dibahas adalah perkerasan lentur ruas jalan raya yang terdiri dari beberapa jenis lapis konstruksi perkerasan yang disusun dari bawah ke atas, sebagai berikut; alas jalan, lapis pondasi bawah, lapis pondasi atas, lapisan permukaan. Peran lapisan permukaan jalan adalah menerima beban lalu lintas dan mendistribusikannya ke lapisan-lapisan di bawahnya dan berlanjut ke dasar jalan. Pada umumnya kerusakan yang terjadi tidak disebabkan oleh satu faktor saja, tetapi dapat merupakan kombinasi dari beberapa penyebab yang saling terkait. Misalnya, retak tepi pada awalnya mungkin disebabkan oleh dukungan sisi yang buruk. Dengan munculnya retakan tepi, air menembus ke dalam lapisan di bawahnya, melemahkan kekuatan ikatan antara aspal dan agregat, mengakibatkan lubang samping dan melemahkan daya dukung lapisan di bawahnya.
