Contrast Change Communication (BCC) is important because it is a process of generating and promoting awareness, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and behavior to bring about a positive change in health, social and environmental issues. BCC helps individuals, communities, and societies to identify, understand, and address health and social problems in a sustainable manner. There are several reasons why BCC is essential: Improves Health Outcomes: BCC interventions have been shown to improve health outcomes, including reducing the incidence and prevalence of infectious diseases, improving reproductive health, and reducing malnutrition. Empowers individuals and communities: BCC empowers individuals and communities to take control of their health and well-being. It helps them identify and understand their problems and find ways to address them effectively. Promotes positive behavior change: BCC interventions are designed to promote positive behavior change, including adopting healthy habits, making informed decisions, and seeking timely and appropriate care. Enhances the effectiveness of health interventions: BCC interventions can enhance the effectiveness of health interventions by improving people's understanding of health problems and encouraging them to seek and comply with appropriate treatments. Builds resilience: BCC interventions can help individuals and communities build resilience against health and social challenges, including pandemics, natural disasters, and conflict.
This study was done to find out the importance of Visuals in Behaviour Change Communication Interventions. Behaviour Change Communication, or Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) is the strategic use of communication to promote positive health outcomes in individuals, groups or a community based on proven theories and models of behaviour change. The use of visuals has been a very important part of Behaviour Change Communications across the globe in maintaining public health awareness around new disease outbreaks and emergencies in the world as they come out. The visuals most notably used in the health sector include but are not limited to interactive television, fliers, booklets and posters. These visuals have been used for decades now to inform the general public of the advantages of safe family methods, reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS through practising safe sex and tackling disease outbreaks in the globe like the more recent COVID-19. This leads to saving high risk individuals from being affected by these diseases or reducing the number of high risk individuals in danger of the diseases by tackling and addressing the behavioural and social aspects of disease prevention and control during emergencies and disease outbreaks. It does this by providing accurate, clear, relevant and timely information to the public on how to best contain the emergency and protect themselves. Studies have shown from time to time that the use of visuals in BCC interventions lead to higher informational retention among respondents in the studies held.

Behavior change communication (BCC) is defined as a process that uses various communication strategies to promote and encourage positive changes in behavior. It involves designing and implementing communication interventions that target specific behaviors and aim to motivate people to adopt healthier or more positive behaviors. The goal of this study was to explain the importance of visuals in behaviour change communication interventions. The study was conducted reviewing other current literatures from various communication scholars. The study examined related journals and used their different research findings to layout the importance of visuals in behaviour change communication interventions. The study observed that visuals is an important element in communication and good strategy that would effect behaviour change communication because it comprises of audio, videos, images, colours, etc. The study found that visualization is the best method of teaching both in the healthcare, classroom and any other learning environment. The study therefore concluded that visuals should be adopted as a teaching method in primary, tertiary and colleges to facilitate learning and enable retain-ability. The study also concluded that visualized information seems easier to recall than audio related messages and it helps to develop critical and mental thinking, therefore buttressing McLuhan's idea that the medium is the message.
This paper discusses the significance of using visuals in behaviour change communication (BCC) strategies. Visuals have been proven to be an effective tool for conveying messages and influencing behaviour. Through a comprehensive review of relevant literature, This paper explores the significance of visual media in behaviour change communication, using evidence from recent studies. Specifically, the paper focuses on the impact of counselling visual multimedia in promoting the use of family planning methods among displaced Nigerian families, the effectiveness of visual illustrations in increasing intention towards COVID-19 vaccination among victims of insecurity in Nigeria and a few others. The findings suggest that the use of visual media is a powerful tool in promoting behaviour change and should be integrated into behaviour change communication strategies. The paper also highlights some of the challenges associated with incorporating visuals into BCC strategies, such as cultural sensitivity and accessibility. Overall, the paper argues that visuals are a vital component of behavioural change communication and recommends that practitioners carefully consider the role of visuals in their communication strategies.
The goal of this paper is to provide a discussion and argue on the importance of visuals in behaviour change communication intentions. Visuals are important when communicating especially if the message is formulated to influence behavior change. Visuals serve as a proof or an explanation of the message communicated. This paper was created to show the importance of Visual message in Young Children who have mental traumas from a terrible experience like kidnapping, Adults and those who have trouble reading or understanding the spoken or written message. Visuals can be done through graphic design, cartoons, illustrations, etc. The first part of this paper will explain the meaning of Behavior Change Communications (BCC) and Why it is important that is the need for Visuals in Communication. The Second part shows the effect of visuals in communication. It shows the conclusion of the study carried out by Authors in Certain areas of the country (Health, Family, Education, etc.) which were cited in this paper while also stating the importance of Visuals in each study. The third part which is the conclusion explains the overall importance of visuals in communication intervention and how it influences people's behavior towards a specific matter. The last part shows the reference list, articles and web pages that were cited and used in this paper.

This paper is devoted to a fascinating passage in Faḫr al-Dīn al-Rāzī (d. 1210), in which he argues that non-human animals have rational souls. It is found in his Mulaḫḫaṣ fī l-manṭiq wa-l-ḥikma (Epitome on Philosophy and Logic). Following a discussion of the afterlife, Faḫr al-Dīn suggests that animals should, like humans, be capable of grasping universals, and that they are aware of their own identity over time. Furthermore, animal behavior shows that they are capable of rational planning and problem-solving. We contextualize these arguments with reference to Faḫr al-Dīn's other philosophical works, and also compare the considerations he raises to ideas found in modern-day animal ethics, drawing here especially on the work of Mark Rowlands. The paper concludes with a translation of the passage.
