Cosmetics are defined as the products used for the purpose of beautifying, cleansing, promoting attractiveness or alternating the appearance. The aim of study is to formulate and evaluate a face scrub with incorporation of the sapodilla as an active ingredient. For the purpose of enhancing skin beauty, several skin conditions are developed, such as skin protection, sunscreen, anti-acne, and anti-wrinkle products. Despite the enormous health benefits of synthetic substances, which once more cause environmental destruction, demand for herbal items and cosmetics is rising daily. Due to their dual functionality as medications and cosmetics, herbal cosmetics are in high demand nowadays. The name itself indicates that herbal cosmetics are natural and they do not contain any chemicals. Natural ingredients have no side effects, making them the safest and greatest products to use on a daily basis. A facial scrub is a cosmetic or a beauty product used to exfoliate and clean the skin on the face and body. Blackheads, whiteheads, sebum, and skin cells can all be removed by using face scrubs. In this face scrub, sapodilla is used as an active ingredient. The other ingredients like carbopol, methyl paraben, triethanolamine, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulphate were added into this face scrub gel. Cosmetics accumulated in facial skin are difficult to remove by ordinary cleansers because they normally contain highly waterproof ingredients. Therefore, development of makeup remover products is necessary for the efficient removal of cosmetics without irritation to the skin. Current commercial makeup removers are emulsions produced from mineral oil and water with surfactants sometimes cause allergies and acne. To overcome these problems, vegetable oils seem to be promising ingredients for makeup removers. In this study, such makeup removers were prepared as water-in-oil (w/o) microemulsion from a mixture of castor oil and sunflower oil at ratios from 1:9 to 5:5 and water with nonionic surfactants, Span ® 80 and Dehydol LS ® TH. The remover candidates were selected with respect to transparency of emulsion and cleansing efficiency. As a result, an emulsion was prepared from a mixture of castor oil and sunflower oil with the ratio of 3:7, Dehydol LS ® TH with 7 repeating units of ethylene oxide, and 7.0% (w/w) of water. It was found that the stability of transparency and a high cleansing efficiency were attributed to the hydrophilicity of the surfactant and castor oil. Dynamic light-scattering analysis demonstrated that the emulsion consisted of nanoscale micelles, resulting in a microemulsion.
The cosmetics and personal care industry's hair removal market is growing in importance. Teenage girls and women are often concerned about the unwelcome hair development. The current study highlights the importance of choosing herbal depilatories over pharmaceutical depilators because of their high efficacy, safety, and lack of adverse side effects. Herbs that have depilatory properties and their composition in herbal creams are examined, as well as other hair removal methods. Depilatories are cosmetic products that are intended to eliminate hair from the skin. Chemical depilatories mostly contain salts of thioglycolic acids as their active components. Making the hair removal cream requires the following ingredients: thioglycolic acid, cetyl alcohol, turmeric powder, neem and tulsi extract, ginger and papaya powder, liquid paraffin, and the necessary amount of orange oil. The pH, viscosity, spreadability, and homogeneity of the hair removal cream formulation were all evaluated. The results showed off the F3 formulation's outstanding properties.

The para rubber tree (Hevea basilensis) is an economically important tropical tree species that produces natural rubber, a valuable industrial raw material. Innovative products that are derived from by-products from the rubber production process, such as seeds, are important for the sustainability of the para rubber industry. Therefore we subjectively assessed para rubber seed oil for its makeup-removal efficacy and developed it into a makeup cleansing product with appropriate quality control measures for the cosmetic industry. The makeup-removal efficacy of para rubber seed oil was analyzed using a validated UV-Vis spectroscopy, which indicated that the oil removed 86.21 ± 2.48% of liquid foundation [relative standard deviation (RSD) = 2.88%]. Therefore, we developed stable makeup removers containing 40-70% para rubber seed oil. Bio-oil removers containing 50% and 60% oil had the best appearance and texture and were subsequently evaluated for their makeup-removal efficacy. The bio-oil remover with the higher oil content was significantly better at removing makeup (95.26 ± 0.97% removal by the 60% oil compared with 73.88 ± 3.97% removal by the 50% oil). To conclude, para rubber seed oil is a promising new bio-oil for the cosmetic industry, which broadens consumers' choices of bio-oil makeup removers. We believe that the manufacture and quality control of this innovative and efficient makeup remover are feasible on an industrial scale.

As reaction to risks brought by pollutants, particular attention is given to the development of natural cosmetics with protective role. These new products are created based on innovative active ingredients obtained through advanced processing of native plant species that work by cleaning and removal of polluting impurities and making a protective shield that also stimulates the natural defense mechanisms of skin. The work focuses on harnessing the medicinal plant 'Passion Flower' (Passiflora incarnate), cultivated in ecological conditions for obtaining a liquid extract enriched in active phytochemicals with anti-stress, restorative, invigorating, soothing and purifying properties, for special care of devitalized skin, stress and pollutants abused, or marked by time. The authors have associated the extract of Passionflower with active plant ingredients from fatty oils of milk thistle, hemp, rosehip and sea buckthorn, with concentrated extracts of marshmallow, black currant and licorice and essential lavender oil, to realise an active complex, rich in phytochemical compounds: polyphenols, flavones, flavonoids, anthocyanins, procyanidins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, triterpene saponins, carotenoids and minerals that synergistically act for mutual reinforcing. HOFIGAL Company has created new performing cosmetic formulas with roles of: cleaning and removing of pollutant impurities (cleansing products, shower gels) skin protection by strengthening its 'natural barrier' and natural defense mechanisms (creams, toning emulsions), anti-stress, (creams, gels), maintenance of skin hydration, nutrition and cellular regeneration (lotions, creams).Thereby, five product formulations were developed and efficacy evaluated: Cleansing milk, Cleansing oil for eye contour, Body cream, Protective and hydrating day cream, AntiStress shampoo.
