RUSH (BP) 74...

THIS is a Voodoo Wagon EXCLUSIVE!

Now, I Know You're sayin' to Yourself - I Already Have THIS!
Well, YES and NO!

I've had this concert of RUSH from 1974 for a long time and have seen it on many a blog and website...
BUT...
They're ALL from the Same Source!
Apparently there was a Canadian TV Show called BANDSTAND who filmed this RUSH concert at St. Catharines, Ontario's Laura Second Secondary School with John Rutsey on Drums.
(You can watch it on YouTube in Living Colour, eh!)
AND, They ALL have the same problems and glitches and gremlins, etc:
The Vocals in the First couple of minutes of "Need Some Love."
"In The Mood" still fades out, 'cause, well that was the end of the broadcast! (Nothing could be done for that!)
And, the Sound Quality had a certain Muddy-ness to it overall...
Then Again IT WAS Filmed in 1974!
Apparently, some or all of the Original was released with R40 as a Bonus...

AGAIN! - THIS IS NOT THAT!
THIS is a Remastered Version of the Original TV Source
Available Nowhere Else!
It's NOT on ANY OTHER Blog or Website - 'Cause I Didn't Get It from Any Other Blog or Website (IF That Makes sense?)...

It's Not Perfect, BUT - To These Old Ears, It's Much Improved!

Rush - Electric Lady Studios - 1974

Music provided by our friend Drums McBashington!!

Rush - Electric Lady Studios
December 5, 1974
New York, NY.
FM Source @320

Another bootleg recording turned into a CD, this one from a show Rush played in 1974 at Electric Lady studios in New York City. The recording has been floating around for years in an unofficial CD, called 'Rush Hour'  but about two years ago it was repackaged into an unofficial import CD, called Rush - Live at Electric Lady Studios

Rush’s show was on December 5th. The band played its standard set from its first tour: “Finding My Way,” “Best I Can,” “In the Mood,” “Anthem,” “Need Some Love,” “Fly by Night,” “Here Again,” the Larry Williams cover “Bad Boy,” and “Working Man.”
“Here Again” is played at an extremely slow tempo and the applause afterward is tepid. Geddy then says they’re going to speed things up a bit and they go into “Bad Boy.” The set ends with “Working Man” and a Neil solo.
The view of unofficial CDs like this one is always mixed, but the recordings are worth listening to. The sonic quality is raw and the playing is raw. Whether you want to part with $39.99 to buy the CD on Amazon is another matter.

Rush - Houston, TX - Dec 5, 1996

Lemme tell ya that this came from a BIG flac file; breaking it
down to loadable pieces is why there's four links.

320kbps of storm-warning mp3

Rush - The Kiel Auditorium, St. Louis Feb. 11-13, 1980

For Bonger and the Milk Maids!

Broken down from flac into
320kbps of virtuoso mp3

(This must be Geddy's comeback to me for saying someone wrote he sounded like Donald Duck mixed with a vacuum cleaner. I have a big nose too, so I won't go there.)
