I'm a Clinician and Co-innovator of Walters' Siddha Research Centre. I am an ordinary person who worked hard to develop skills I was given. Graduated in Medical Degree B.S.M.S (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery) from Government Siddha Medical College. Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu, India.
I'm also the product of Walters' Siddha research centre, where I was currently residing as Research Coordinator and Consultant, from there everyday trying to enhance myself. My strength as most of the people say lies in my faithfulness, kindness and my desire to work hard. I think of my goals as my plans and work on them passionately.
I have got many achievements/ Recognitions/certificates and awards from International and national level Programs. I am quite interested in technological advancements and creating Medical Innovations (Co-invented 3 Healthcare solutions) which is Cost-effective and reliable/effective solution intended for the BoPs. Those Ideas were pitched and recognized by various competitions/Innovations(CII innovations, Amrita TBI, StartUp WeekEnd, IIT Delhi, CAMTech Innovations, CAMtech accelerator Program Pitchings etc) Presentations/research submission and have proved myself (guided by my Mentor & Professor Dr. Thomas M. Walter sir) whenever opportunity has given me a chance.
My ambition is to become a successful doctor and MedTech Innovator. My long term dream and interest is to contribute for the exploration the Siddha Medicine (Ministry of AYUSH) in a scientific forum and to be an one of small tiny step stone behind the Siddha medicine research. So far Published 55 and more research and reviews in Inter and Intra Level Journals/conference publications. Contributing as a Editor & Reviewer in Pharma Innovations, Siddha Papers, American Journal of Plant Science, American Journal of Medical Science, Journal of Pharmacy etc.

The present study was based on extensive literature research and findings were subjected to SWOT analysis to know the current status and resources based on Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats. Siddha medical literatures available from the library of Government Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai and certain Private siddha institutions were taken into review. Through literatures research, nearly 30 and more paediatric books were retrieved. The lists of books (Peadiatrics in Siddha) available in the National Health Portal (NHP) were fixed as the primary source for the list of the books to be retrived. In addition broader search are planned to retrieve the literatures available in other countries also.
Among the external therapies Poochu, pattru, Vethu, otradam are the major modules mentioned in searched literatures and wider informations regarding these were found. Through this work, the siddha departmental specialization can be strengthened and new research area of focus can be arrived.

Siddha plants plays an vital role in the prevention and management of Female Uro-genital care. Plants with emmenagogue actions such as amanaku(Ricinus communis), Ellu (Sesamum indicum), Thannervittan Kizhangu(Asparagus racemosus), Venthayam(Trigonella foenum graecum), Athimathuram(Glycyrrhiza glabra, Karunjeeragam (Nigella sativa), Manjitti (Rubia cordifolia) etc were initially selected, reviewed and identified for the occurrence of the key major compound phytoestrogen in the management of Post menopausal symptoms. To conclude, the review of the above said Siddha herbs are showing more therapeutic role in the management of Post menopausal complications.
And another Major topic is about, Yoga for Schooling children’s. Yes. They are the future citizens/Youngsters of the nation. It is our duty to preach Yoga on school drill/sports days etc. Yoga is building for motor skills (Neuro-muscular development), enhances the vestibular system, improves the focus & concentration, Encourages crossing motions with Pranayama, helps motor development of both sides of body, improves flexibility, Posture maintain during classes (posture alignment etc.), Increases balance, Body awareness & co-ordination etc. With these, childrens may induce their parents/neighbours/generation etc. And Most of the children follow Parents behavioural footsteps. In School meeting, Teachers must create awareness to the parents to make their child with disease free & rich helpful & Social skillful child.

Siddha Medicine is an ancient medicine in the world. Siddhars brings down 4448 types of diseases under the category of general medicine, special medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, toxicology, surgery and ophthalmology etc.
In Siddhar "aruvai maruthuvam" Siddhar mentioned about 96 types of eye diseases. The "agathiar nayana vidhi 500" is a witness of the above 96 types of eye diseases. Also the "nagamuni nayana vidhi" classifies the eye diseases. According to the manuscript 27 eye diseases in the people, 10 in retina, 13 in cornea, 9 in between retina and cornea 24 in upper eye lid and whole eye totally 96 in eye diseases. Nagamuni siddhar mentioned about vatham, pitham and kabam i.e three dhosham which may be the causative factors for the above diseases. Many palm leaf manuscripts on ophthalmology are also an evident of the same.

*Abstract
With the advancement of Science & Technology, more and more non-invasive methods of treatment are made available to the general public. Instead of causing morbidity and sometimes mortality due to conventional treatment methods such as surgery etc, non-invasive treatment options are real blessings upon mankind. The traditional system of medicine are also having such specialities – especially Siddha medicine has authoritative non-invasive methods which are less known to the public and even to practicing Physicians. According to our traditional Siddha Medicine the total number of diseases is divided into 4448. Various forms of Medicine are prescribed for treating those diseases. Out of 32 internal and 32 external dosage forms, Kalikam is one of the external forms of Medicine that is applied in the eyes for curing diseases. This paper documents the efficacy of Kalikam, Methods of application, shelf life, effect of Kalikam in treating Sanni (Mukkutra noi – an amalgam of all the three humors, namely Vatha, Pitha & Kapha) and other diseases. The list of single herbs & compound drugs that can be used as Kalikam and their methods of application are also discussed in detail.

Pregnancy is the happiest moment for every woman in her life. She accepts the difficulties of pregnancy with happiness. Pararasa Sekaram’s antenatal medicine is the best siddha medicine to reduce discomfort of pregnancy, to avoid abortion and to give strength for a woman during antenatal period and to make delivery normal.
In Siddha Hygiene and Preventive Measures Pararasa Sekaram’s antenatal medicine is specially indicated for a healthy women during pregnancy. This review paper deals in detail about the medicines given during antenatal period, the nutrients present in each herb and their nutritional values with special reference. The probable nutrients of Thamarai (Nelumbo nucifera), Santhanam (Santalum album), Inji (Zingiber officinale), Thagaram (Cassia tora), Charanai kizhangu (Trianthema portulacastrum), Iluppai poo (Madhuca longifolia), Ell (Sesamum indicum), Amanakku (Ricinus communis), Vilampinchu (Limonia acidissima), Tharkshi (Vitis vinifera) are discussed. So this is the right time to do more research on Siddha Antenatal medicine and scientifically explore the feasibility of using Siddha Medicine during Antenatal Period.
