As usual I am just about to set out for aquarobics so this will be quick - and hopefully I will comment later...

SO here's my desk!

Happy Mail today is that kit from Bee Arty - I have yet to have a look inside to see what it contains!

And more happy mail this week - I received this super card and ATC from Kelly - Happy Anniversary WOYWW!

Those bright paints in the background were to do some 'squeegie' painting.

I made these letters which are for a project I am about to start...

I have done some more of the ICAD Challenge - but am still behind!!

And I have done a couple of journal pages:

Both had collage backgrounds of serviette, book paper and tissue with acrylic paint and then black and white images - stamps in the first case and from Michelle Grant Designs in the second.

Addicted to Stamps and More #451 - Make Your Mark

 

 

Here's my Make Your Mark project...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

Today's make is a simple card.

I printed the freebie image from Gecko Galz Stamp Challenge onto the right hand side of a piece of white A4 card, folded it along the middle and cut the card to shape.

I then painted it with shimmery watercolours. I added black soot Distress ink round the edges and white Posca on the bubbles.

Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Term 2 Post #24

     This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Term 2!

I have used the Enough past Challenge pack from Michelle Grant - Truth

I started by collaging a double page in a large journal, around the edges with serviette, book paper and tissue.

I painted the spaces with art by marlene Tuscan acrylic paint.

I added vintage photo Distress ink around the edges.

I then added the images from the pack - deciding on using the black and white ones as a contrast to the background.

I added shadow around the images using a black Stabilo All. 

I added the quote from Karen Yates Fleur.

I then added some penwork in black and white Posca Pens.

Our Song/Rhyme this fortnight is from Susan

 This is my card inspired  by 'the leaves hang trembling'

I used Stampin Up's Stitched Leaves Dies to cut the leaves from a background made with Lindy's Magicals. The card base was also matted with a section of this background, distressed with 'vintage photo' around the edges.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #558

 

This picture shows my make for the

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

Using the colours that matched Melon, Sundance and Sage.

The card blank is beige matted with a paper from my stash.  I added the clover in black using a Noolibird stamp. I then added the chipboard sentiment which was in the correct colours.

It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

 - and it is Week 737 - Julia has already mentioned the Boeing connection - but my mathematical background always makes me ask if the number is prime. No it isn't - as it has four factors - 1, 11, 67, 737.

If you google  737 you will find it is an Angel number.

Slightly less messy than last week. The papers are drying after adding Lindy's Magicals. My plan is to die cut these to add to a card.

Again not a lot to share - but I have been making some positive potatoes:

I still need to catch up on the ICAD Challenge and all my other crafty projects!

This is my card:

The background is a page from a Mintay Lavender Farm paper pad. The card bank was a cream one. I then added the bbq apron - Stampin Up dies.

The Library Craft Challenge

I came across this challenge while commenting for the Happy Little Stampers Challenges.

The Girl in the Polka Dot Dress by Beryl Bainbridge

I have made a simple card using an image from Gecko Galz with layers of beige card and dotty paper.

I gave the girl a polka dot dress using a Posca Pen.
