Hello Dear Stamper Friends:
I am very glad to announce that I am a Guest Tutorial Writer at SCS.
'Split Coast Stampers' more known as SCS is a web-based community for paper crafters, (for the people who are not familiar with them) that started in 2003. There you will find tons of stamping related resources and lots of inspiration from artists all around...if you do not want to have a blog, this place is THE place to showcase your cards, your paper projects.
My gallery name is "BMZ" and can be found HERE
I am featuring a Video Tutorial at The "Tutorials" section at SCS on "how to make" the "Bendi" Fold card that I did back on march and I showed to you here in my blog...do you remember this card?
Here it is the link to the video and instructions at SCS gallery, although you can find it as well, for future reference in my side bar under my "You Tube Channel"
I wan to thank Lydia Fiedler and Beate Johns for welcoming me and making this experience a memorable one for me...
Keep on the watch as I will have some more tutorials coming...here or there...

Happy Mother's Day..In Mexico...and...!
Hello Dear Stamper Friends:
On May 10th, in Mexico, El Salvador and in Guatemala they are celebrating mother's day, which is today!...
So I wanted to dedicate this card that I featured at my blog "A Crear se Dijo!" written in Spanish for Memory Box...as part of my contributions as a design team member...to all the mothers in these countries...so...
INTERESTING FACTS:
Mother's day is universal and I believe this tradition started here in the US at the beginning of the 20th century but not every country celebrates it on the second Sunday as it is done here in the US.
In Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala it is always on May 10th, no matter which day of the week it is....
and In France it is celebrated on the 4th Sunday of May...
and in England it is in March!
Anyways, my point is that for the month of May we will be celebrating all month long this day that should be celebrated all year long, don't you think?
Now onto this card...
I used several "Memory Box" dies and stamps that you can see in this photo
For the flowers I used this type of "tissue" "paper", that I bought at a garage sale.
If somebody knows the name it, please let me know...
The "Hey Script" die is from the new release of dies from the Spring 2013 catalog, that you can browse on the side bar, just click on it and you will see all the marvelous new dies released by "Memory Box" for this Spring...
This Unique Fold is quite simple but different enough to make this card special for all those moms out there...
Here are the Instructions:
1- make an A2 card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2 ", folded); at the 1 1/2" trace a line and find the center point at
2 3/4"
2- fold upwards the 2 corners, meet at the center point
3- place scotch tape on one of the flaps facing up
4- you will have then created a little pocket...
5- you can use this card in an horizontal way or vertical as I did with my sample..
And this is how it looks tucked in...the little square note measures 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
I will be featuring a card specially for Colombian, American and some other countries this coming Sunday May 12th, so I invite you to stop by, before headding out to a brunch or a big celebration for this special day...:)
I will be doing certainly something, as well for French moms on My French blog at the end of this month... so keep checking back...
I hope you liked this Fun Fold
As always thanks for stopping bye, ...

Lily of the Valley, Happiness in May!
Hello Dear stamper Friends:
This card was featured today, May 1st at my French blog: "Un Brin De Créativité" for Memory Box, because today in France everybody offers a sprig of "Muguet" (Lily of the Valley) during this day to wish you happiness...
I always thought that this tradition was lovely and back in my days as a student over there I used to sell every May 1st this flower...so this brings me a lot of nice souvenirs...!
Can you tell which Memory Box die I used, to make the little "bells"?
Well, this is the "Dancing Tulips"...who knew that with one die you can have 2 totally different flowers...what a bargain!!
I just simply cut the Tulip heads and put them up side down...colored the leaves and the "bells" with "Copics" and did "Faux" stitching along the sides of the card...very simple, yet very pretty...I think! and I wrapped the sprig in half a doily, shaped in a cone....
As a historic note: this tradition to offers Lily of the Valley in France is because this flower appears on this date, as a symbol of spring and in the "language of flowers", it signifies the return of happiness.
Apparently this started with King Charles the IX, (16th century) when he received a lily of the valley as a lucky charm. So touched was he by this token that he decided to offer a lily of the valley each
So, I hope that I can send you through the Internet as well some wishes of happiness...
Ok, thanks for visiting and until a next card!!!
Love your comments...if you have some time write me a little note....
