Vintage Altered Book Card

Hello Dear fans of Lost Coast Designs Stamps:

I made this card using the "Altered Book set" from Lost Coast Designs
to make this vintage looking card with some wear and tear!

For the background:
I embossed the background with the gears right bottom corner (from a Tim Holtz embossing folder), then sponged the background with several distress inks, finally stamped the flourish swirl

The Front:
I used a Spellbinders labels dies to make the book, stamped the "altered book" image, and teared the other image

Hope you like this card I enjoyed making it , I really like this set!

Hello my dear Stamper Friends:

I have this NEW AI (Art Impressions) stamp that I got at my recent CHA (Craft and Hobby Associaton)  trip in Atlanta and it is until now That I can use it!

We have a friend who is retiring from work and I made this card for him and since he is a golfer this was the perfect card to wish him lots of success in the NEW life that has just started now for him! Wishing him lost of fun...playing golf but wishing also that he has a better wardrobe!!!! :)

I have several of "AI" funny stamps,...
You must know the famous and hilarious chubby girlfriends...right?

but I rarely use them...I do not know why? I guess I do not use so much humor in my cards ...
but for this occasion I find out the stamp to be perfect!!!

 
I paired the card with several dies from various companies, see below in the supplies for a complete list of them...
NOTE: the "owl heart tree" die  (leaves) and the "loom" circle (sun) die are  retiring dies from Memory Box, so get them now until supplies last!!! see supplies below!


AND....
Since this is a Brand NEW stamp I wanted to include my card in the  "NBUS" challenge that our Dear Friend Darnell from DJKardKreations hosts at her blog...

The sentiment is a "Penny Black" stamp , which I LOVE.....

I better hurry up and include it at Darnell's  NBUS Challenge  which closes  tomorrow!!!!...
