Headlamp Helmet
The Headlamp Helmet is headgear in Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3.
It is a 3-star item produced by Grizzco and comes with a random primary ability generated when it is received. It is only available as a reward from Salmon Run as the monthly gear or in a Pink Capsule. It cannot be ordered from another player.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 2-star item produced by Grizzco and comes with the ability Special Power Up.
Appearance
The Headlamp Helmet resembles a coal miner's helmet, with a headlamp attached to a hard hat via a black strap. The helmet changes color to correspond with the player's ink color and is adorned with various logos.

Abilities
The Headlamp Helmet comes with a random primary ability that can also appear as secondary abilities, which prevents the wearer from having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity as they are exclusive to Headgear and cannot appear as secondary abilities. This primary ability is assigned randomly when the item is received. As a 3-star item, the Headlamp Helmet comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Grizzco gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

The Headlamp Helmet is part of the Fresh Season 2023 and can only be obtained through fish scales. It is unlocked after the 1st milestone.
