Just As You Like

Today is my final post with ABC. I have been with this awesome team for well over a year. I have decided to step down to work on some other things and free up some of my time. I'd like to move onto another crafty part of y life as you have started to see and will see here in the near future. Yes I am still card making. I love coloring with my copics, but I want to start painting, and doing more altered art pieces and grunge it out a bit with a side of shabby! So happy goodbyes!!!

Stamp and Create and The Paper Shelter

I am using an image from Stamp and Create.

I loved these little bears in one of Magnolia's Christmas release. I colored up a bunch but never really got to use them.

So I am using this cutie.

I used some papers from My Mind's Eye called Ruby you can find at Loves Rubberstamps, the sentiment is a stamp from Sparkle N Sprinkle Shabby Chic Birdhouse set embossed in Sparkle n Sprinkles Antiquities embossing powder. I finished the card off with ribbon from Really Reasonable ribbon, stickles on the present and tag, and lastly used some liquid pearls around the bear!

-PLEASE READ-

I follow a lot of blogs and I use google reader to check them out. I may not always leave comment but trust me I see and pin a lot of projects you lovely folks create. I am trying to work on my leaving comments but as you know working on my own creativeness, constantly having a 3 year old up underneath me and a 3 month old the size of a 9 month old attached to me doesn't let me do what I use to be able to do. I love following you all and getting inspiration from each piece I see. Thanks so much for following me as I know a lot of people may check out my blog but not leave comments.

BIG THANKS TO MY TEAMMATES THAT SUPPORT ME!!!!

Happy Birthday

SPARKLE N SPRINKLE HOP HERE

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. I will admit it is not a special day for me as my fiance and I never celebrate it together. This year I was not anticipating it but he got me some of my favorite flowers and roses!!!! I was shocked as I always say I don't want anything. I really don't because what I want I can't have....breakfast in bed and ice cream and the cooking and the no kids lol. Sexy romance all day without being a parent. Of course that is what Mother's Day is for right but even then I celebrate it alone and I still have to do it all. I know in the end it is all worth it.

On to todays newest challenge

I finished off the card with some twine and gold rhinestones.

Hope you get a chance to play with us for the next two weeks.

Deck the Halls

How is everyone doing today???? I hope well. Christmas is just 10 days away can you believe it. It will be my first Christmas with my two babies and I cannot wait to get all the fun photos and do some baking. I am one of those holiday bakers I am. I love cranberry bread, and cranberry white chocolate  chip oatmeal cookies are my specialty. MMM I need to get the white chocolate chips. I also make these weight watcher bite size cookies for those one that special diet... they are moist and delicious. Errr that point system has to be so hard with something so addictive!

Well today I have a new challenge to share with you.

Today I really stepped outside and tried to be creative with making an ornament. I love making shakers but I saw this amazing ornament and thought lets try something.

I had this stamp last year and never got to showcase him so here he is. I colored it with copics and used glossy accents to adhere my Sparkle n Sprinkle brand new Cloud Nine glitter.

I used some Authentique paper from LRS called Festive. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, I also used a pearl pen to add pearl dots around the border but it doesn't quite look how I wanted it to. I also used a Great Impression Stamp Merry Christmas. I used spellbinder dies to create the shape of the ornament.

Hope you get a chance to play with us before Christmas.

Butterflies, Diamonds, and Pearls

If you are here for the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop CLICK HERE

I have two new challenges for you here today.

 theme this challenge is

B is for Butterflies

Sponsor this challenge is

So here are my butterflies. I wish I had more butterflies to share. This Magnolia image is one of my favorites. I love it. I was also lucky to still have some My Mind's Eye paper with butterflies left. I also recently purchased some wood butterflies by Maya Art I believe and I painted it white with acrylic paint. I finished the butterfly off with some seam binding ribbon.

I was not to sure about the black cardstock but looking at it, it really makes the card pop.

Next challenge up is

with a theme this week of

Diamonds and Pearls

Our sponsor this week is

I used another Magnolia image. I was practicing my yellow/ gold coloring with this image. I really love the colors and how she contrasts from the shabbiness of the rest of the card.

I used some chocolate pearls, big rhinestones, MS lace, cardboard, and come cheesecloth. The papers I believe are from FabnScraps. I really love the shabbiness of them but have yet to break into my shabby side. I swear I have so many projects in my head it is hard to keep them all straight and go for them. I start a lot at the same time because I see something I like and want to try it out!!!

Well I hope you play with these challenges this week!

Don't forget these either

Unique Crafter still has a Sugar and Spice challenge going on.
