Hi Everyone. I trust that you all stayed safe from Storm Doris as it really was a rough couple of days, but this morning it is beautiful sunshine here in Ayrshire, even my miniature Rhododendron is flowering profusely, never had it flower in February before.
Today I am showing a plain wooden block that I made in to a little word saying block. after giving it two coats of Decoart Chalky finish paint I used Decoart Crackle medium to get some crackling. Then the fun part was preparing my paper napkins for putting on to the sides along with words that I found made a difference to my friend when she was struggling. Of course I stamped the words on to tissue paper as well before adhering them on to the block. I finished it off with some flowers I made with Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies, and added a little wooden heart. Hope you like what I;ve done as I am entering it into A Vintage Journey where this months challenge is Words. See you all Soon. Hugs Rita xxx

So glad to hear the sun has come out again after Doris. Your little word block is enchanting, Rita - such pretty florals to remind us that spring is on the way. The words are wonderful too - lovely to have you join us on A Vintage Journey, and I'm so happy I've got a few minutes to catch up a little.
