Monochromatic Thank You Card

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  I am on the SumMore Fun blog today.  Now is the time for lots of Thank You cards to be sent, so that is what I am sharing.  Remember, all photopolymer stamp sets are ONLY $5 for liquidation!  When they are gone, they will be gone for good.
I used the Talking In Circles stamp set to create this card.  That set is great for many occasions!  I stamped the thank you sentiment circle with Catherine Pooler All That Jazz ink and die cut it with a stitched circle, then matted it with a scalloped stitched circle die cut.  The background was created with a stencil and Scrapbook.com Cyan group inks.  That was matted with a scalloped rectangle die cut.  I added crinkled seam binding before adhering everything to the card base and glued on a bow for the finishing touch.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

90th Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday post for the SumMore Fun blog!  This time, I have a feminine 90th birthday card to share with you.  The stamp set I used on this card is Raisin Boat Springtime Love.
I started off by taking a panel of white cardstock and created a subtle lace background on it with a GMD flower petal collage stencil and Soft Lavender SB.com ink.  I also wrapped purple crinkled seam binding around that panel in the area I wanted to add the 90 heart.  The heart was stamped from the Springtime Love stamp set with Charcoal ink.  I then cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut and watercolored the leaves in with Parisian Purple ink.  The 90 was simply cut out from silver vinyl with my Scan N Cut and placed onto the heart.  I added the heart with foam tape.  The sentiment was also from the Springtime Love stamp set and was stamped with Charcoal ink.  The final embellishment was Silver Pearl Pen. I tried a different technique to apply it this time by adding it to a scrap paper, then dipping different sized styluses into that and touching it to my card.  The white cardstock panel was matted with charcoal and purple cardstocks onto the card base.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Cupcake Birthday Girl Cards

Hello friends!  Today I am sharing a couple of cards I recently made using stamps from Unity's SO Glad You Were Born set.
I inked up the cupcake stamp using black ink and stamped it on white cardstock.  Once it was dry, I used my Brother Scan N Cut to fussy cut them.  I used Scrapbook.com inks to watercolor the cupcakes and hearts and sat them aside to dry.
The white card panel was prepped by die cutting with a GMD stitched rectangle die and used the GMD Flower Petal Collage stencil and a coordinating Scrapbook.com ink with a makeup blending brush to create the pretty design.  I then stamped the sentiment in black ink.  I matted that onto the card base with the patterned paper and colored cardstock cut with a GMD scalloped stitched rectangle.
I added a strip of patterned paper and a bow of Trendy Twine onto the front of the card.
The cupcake was adhered with foam tape.  The hearts were simple glued in place.  As a final touch, I added glossy accents to the hearts, cheeks and a few random dots near the sentiment.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Masculine Sympathy Card

Happy Saturday morning!  Today I am sharing a masculine sympathy card.
To create the background, I used a GMD Chic Style stencil and blended Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans and Broken China at an angle starting in the lower left corner.  I also spritzed the paper with water to give it an oxidized look.
I kept the design CAS only adding a metallic silver banner and GMD Heartfelt Sympathy word and shadow dies.  I embellished with three sequins in coordinating colors.
I liked this style so much that I created four of these cards!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Purple Wishes Card

Hello all!  One of my sweet friends had a birthday earlier this week.  She said she didn't want to celebrate her birthday this year, so I made her this non-birthday card using purple, her favorite color!
The background was created using a GMD Flower Petal Collage stencil and Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, and Wilted Violet (I have the order of the top 2 inks reversed in the picture...oops!)  I really LOVED how this background turned out and I am sure I will be making more like this in the future.
I stamped the sentiments from Pink and Main's Wishes stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with clear powder.
For embellishments, I used a light purple crinkled seam binding and GMD Iris Sparkle Glitter enamel dots.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Lacy Card in Pink

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a relaxing weekend.  Today I have this lovely card to share with you.  The background strip of paper is watercolor paper with homemade embossing paste tinted with Distress Ink Sun Sugar reinker.  The stencil I used on that is GMD flower petal collage.
The focal point was created with the gorgeous GMD Lacey Lattice Square die set and a GMD Big & Little Pierced Chain Heart die.  The sentiment is from the My Mind's Eye Honey Happiness stamp set.  Embellishments include GMD soft pink pearls and Pink Midnight Trendy Twine.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
