sending you birthday wishes

today i am showing a birthday card for a dear school friend who i haven`t seen for years ~but have met ( talking after 30 years) back through facebook ~ the wonders of facebook!!! (so lisa close your eyes until the 23rd)
for this card i used the wonderful sketch on SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY #70 (never miss their sketches they are my fave ~ bet they think oh gosh not her again!!)

used some new s.e.i papers, rubber romance (girlfriends on bench stamp), sizzix flower and swirl dies, stamin`up circle word stamp, cardcraft card candy and some stickles glitter.


so what is up with blogger then??? hard to log in, won`t let me log out ~my blog list on my dashboard is 50ft wide ~need to stand over the other side of the room to get a focused look of half a pic/wording!! why do they have to fix it it when it ain`t broke???? oh friday moan time!!

well it is gorgeous weather again here today ~to beds stripped and sheets out ~think i may have a go at sorting out the garden ....but then again have some new stamps to play with ( got them stuck on EZ last night).....mmmmmmmmmmmm garden...or stamp ..only one way to find out ..yes harry hill is back on tv this weekend and my boys are so happy!!! (sorry only the british bloggers will know what i am talking about)

babies touch the world with love

well today i am showing a card i made for a friend who has just had a baby boy ( i know it is not a baby image but i have very few (made a note to buy some ~any stamps you have that i should own??)
for this card i used the wonderful sketch over on SKETCH AND STASH#43 ( used the stamps and papers for the first time, which have been hiding in the dark corners of my craft drawers for a while < especially the papers!!)
and followed the challenge on ALLSORTS #68 ~NEW BEGNNINGS (all links on my side bar)

used K&co papers, lilli of the valley boy stamp, whiff of joy baby wording, nestabilities circle dies, cardcraft card candy. ~sorry about the fuzzy photo ~cannot retake, as the card as it has already left my hands .

well as you can see i am here ~ not sent away wearing a suit with arrows printed on it. the meeting with the educational welfare officers, senco team and uncle tom cobbly and all (although at first we felt very in intimidated with all these faces staring at us with piles of papers infront of them) it went well and paul and myself came out after two hours feeling positive ~ and just hope our school appeal next week goes well ~otherwise we have to think what to do next to get our son an education .

here we are again monday morning and time for a new challenge on CREATIVE STAMP FRIENDS gosh and already on challege #5 ~ theme ~FRIEND/FRIENDS.

we all need a special card for a friend just to say hi /happy birthday/ good luck/thinking of you , or to say thankyou...or a card..... just for being a friend!

used K&CO paper, lili of the valley stamp, elzybells word stamp, quickutz butterfly die and cardcandy, finished with a little glitter.



also to make this card i used the sketch on SKETCH AND STASH ~( and used my new word stamp and found the paper in my cupboard, i`m just finding so much new/unloved/forgotten stash since moving around my craft stuff!!)

used this sweet popcorn the bear stamp and words, K&co papers and various stickers from my stash and plenty of glitter.

hope you all had a wonderful xmas ~ and santa stopped by and left some scrummy crafting goodies!!
i had a wonderful surprise christmas eve, while sat eating my evening meal, a knock on the door and there stood the owner of http://www.cardcraft-uk.co.uk/ with my order from the day before ~took her 7 hours to reach the south coast ~what amazing service!! ~no not just me they where visiting family for xmas who lived near!! ~now that is what i call an amazing company!!
cannot garantee you will get door to door ,but they are very good for a fast service!
