up,up and away!!

well today i am showing my ATC, ~papertake weekly theme this week is a "stitch in time "~to use stitching on your work and pennyblack`s challenge this week is "no cards".
used stitch paper from my stash and also made stitching with gel pen around the edge , used a very cute pennyblack image, have decoupaged the balloons and added glitter and the houses are from magnolia ~edwins town. (click for the detail)

a cuddlybuddly xmas!

well today i am showing you some childrens xmas cards i made using the sketch from fridays sketchers challenge this week.

as i have just received these new cuddlybuddly stamps ~i just had to use them ~ also used various sparkly handmade papers from my stash, sizzix die (school supplies), dovecraft stamp,ribbon from my stash and some glitter ~again click the pic for more detail.

although i have followed the sketch i feel there is something missing ~anyone have any ideas???

lets hope for some sun (or at least no rain today), as paul is on holiday this week ~so good to get the boys out and about ~ get rid of some of that energy!!

birthday garden

well today i am showing this birthday card using this fantastic sketch on the spoonfull of sugar challenge, with the theme from stamp something challenge~ "birthday somethings"
used another lovely hanglar image (from aija), papers from my stash, see d`s stamps, papermania ribbon, finished with glitter.
well it`s bank holiday weather here today ~drizzly rain!! ~so won`t be going far today!!

bright xmas

well another day another card (or should i say cards) to show , which i have to say took me ages to make!! i used the fab sketch on this weeks papertake weekly and used some lovely bright colours for the cutecard thursday challenge!!

used some wonderful hanglar images sent to me from my friend aija (thankyou so much), cuttlebug christmas ornaments embossing folder, engishpaper company paper and coloured paper/card from my stash, cuddlybuddly circle greetings, dovecraft ribbon and finished with glitter! (sorry about the photo ,was taken late yesterday afternoon , so lots of shadow)

while i made this set i also made one for emma (as in yesterdays post) ~hope you are all joining in. added some see d`s wording for this larger card.

well the sun is shining here , so washing is in the washing machine ~lots of jobs planned today ,so no crafting time!! hope you have some time to craft!! byeeeeeeeeeee xx

cold as ice!

well another day ~ another set of xmas cards!! yes i know it`s august ~but they have to be done!!!
magnolia challenge this week it to produce something using only blue/white colours ~ "cold as ice"! ideal for xmas cards i think!!
used tilda with sledge, cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder, on two tone paper, tag by quickutz, ribbon from my stash , finished with lots of glitter.


have made two extra cards to send to emma http://elf-creations.blogspot.com/2008/08/blog-candy-for-our-heroes.html, who has asked for some xmas cards for our troups , so they can send cards home to loved ones ~a very good idea i think!!! so there will be more xmas cards on my blog over the next month!! hope you will join in!!

cute tilda!!

well today i am showing my card for the "cutecard thursday" challenge which the theme this week is "soft furnishing" ~i do hope i have understood this challenge correctly!! papers from k&co, wording is quickutz revolution, have used this very cute tilda and bottles from magnolia stamps (images kindly sent to me from annie), buttons, ribbon and cotton from my stash, finished with plenty of glitter. this card was made for my best friend vicki`s daughter who has just got into uni ~congrats nicki!!
spent the day with vicki and her family yesterday, they came down (or should i say along the coast) to visit us, which is always a great time had by all ~luckily our husbands get on so well , think vicki`s youngest found lewis alittle too active yesterday , as he was so excited to see mandy, again!!

well another day another challenge ~i am showing my card for the magnolia challenge ,which this week is "christmas" ~which is great ` cause now i have 6 more cards made!!
used edwin holding sack, cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder (used on green vellum), see d`s stamps , ribbon from my stash. oh and a little glitter!!


yes it is 2am!! i cannot sleep ,as had one of those fridays yesterday ~boys were horrid , all day!! cannot get into my paypal account to buy any goodies ~and sent my husband off to the post office with an envelope containing a cheque for some crafting goodies ~and guess what he has lost the envelope!! so just had to ring my bank and cancel the cheque and ask is my account safe?? so just sat down to do some crafting ,as cannot sleep and couldn`t get any done yesterday ~ no mojo at all!!! any ideas to cheer me up???.... don`t say shopping!!!.. unless you know of a good site that doesn`t use paypal!!

full bloom

well another day, and i`m showing another card i made for my MIL birthday next week. used this great pennyblack image sent to me by jo (only joking) and used the fab sketch on the pennyblack saturday challenge, turned it around so i could use this image!! this card also fits in with "papertake weekly " challenge which is to use "buttons" in your creation and also "my time to craft" challenge this week is "cats"!!
as i said used this fab pennyblack image , paper from my stash, wording is see d`s stamps, ribbon, flowers and buttons are from my stash. finished with lots of glitter. ~you need to click on the picture to see the details and the wording.
well the sun is out again today, so washing machine is on, aaron is getting excited as he is off to see the new starwars movie this afternoon!! gives lewis and myself some quiet time!! ~who knows some craft time!!
i would like to say a big contratulations to nicki (vickimays daughter) for getting into uni ~as she had her results yesterday!! well done you, nicki!!

hidden message

well today i am showing my card for my mother~in~law inspired by the spoonfull of sugar challenge this week which is "a secret message" ~as you can see the message to "grandma" from my boys can be found by opening the ribboned card on the front.

have used paper from my stash, two different stamps from sugar nellie, put together to look like my boys, studio g corner stamp, and see d`s birthday stamp. flower brad and ribbon from my stash,glitter and glitter gel pen added.

this card also fits into the "stamp something" challenge, which is to use only the colours ~"pink,blue and green" on your card. and also "my time to craft" challenge who`s theme this week is "cats"

for a friend!

well today i am showing a card i made for a friend ,who is going through a very emotional time at the moment and needs all the hugs she and her boys can get!
used the fab sketch on "stamp with sarah kay", used picnics of daisies, sarah kay stamp, quickutz nestling flower dies, daisybucket and studio stamps. paper from my stash.
also deena , on a nessessary creativity http://acreativeneed.wordpress.com/ has asked us crafters to make a card to show your support for someone , with a chance of winning some blog candy. ~what a great idea!!
sorry i`ve not been around much , but the boys seem to need all my attention , so very little crafting time , and aaron seems to be on the computer all day (if he could)!! ~so i hope to catch up with everyone very soon.

andy and helens wedding

well i hope you are sat comfortably ,as there are lots of photos today.




yesterday paul and myself attended out next door neighbours wedding ~yes and the rain poured all day and evening!! ~but a fun time was had by all!!

here is the card i made for them.

used K&CO papers, papermania stickers, DCWV vellum wording, brads from my stash. finished with glitter. made a small pocket for a hand made envelope containing wedding money (thats what they asked for) the area on the right hand side (inside)i used for our personal message ( pachment paper and gold pen), which i added after this photo was taken.




here are the happy couple , signing the register, just as the Red Arrows flew past ~how well planned is that!! helen`s theme was sunflowers , so lots of bright yellows and oranges on a very dull day.

..and here we are ~not the best photo ever ~but vicki you can see the outfits!!

here are my boys at the evening do ~ thankyou andy and helen for a wonderful day ~ and andy a great chance to catch up with old friends ( andy and myself have know each other since primary school, so was a great chance to chat with "matured" play pals, ~remembering the games of cowboys and indians etc ~and meeting their children, and their parents, who all still live in the same three roads from our childhood . so all three generations, reminiscing ~what are weddings for??? .. and what a small world ~what are the chances of us both moving to another town and move next door to each other!!)

fairy goodies!

well another day , and something exciting to show you. last month i entered chrissymaries fairy blog candy challenge ~which was to make a card from being inspired by a beautiful picture and poem crissy had loaded onto her blog!! to cut a long story short ~chrissy`s partner picked my name out of the hat!! and here are all the wonderful goodies i received in the post!! some of the items are amazing!! ~and will stretch anyones imagination!!

thankyou so much for these goodies chrissymarie ~i`m going to have so much fun using all the bits and bobs!!

tilda`s cake!

well another day another challenge, today i am showing a card i made for my mother to give to my MIL, for her birthday. ~( i still have to make her a card) have used the sketch from the magnolia challenge, which was nice and simple , but have added my twist by cutting the front of the card, so i can show the sentiment. used tilda holding a birthday cake, paper by kelly panacci, saying stamp by inkadinkado, other images by see d`s, flowers, brad and gems from my stash, finished with glitter. ~ (the corner of the insert is alittle creased as lewis decided to take a look and a fell at mummy`s work!!)

looks like today will be a good washing day ~ got tons of ironing to do ~so may have very little crafting time today!! did manage to make a card yesterday afternoon, while paul took the boys to play crazy golf ~what fun they had ~see you can now get that on wii sports ~maybe another item to tell father xmas about!! (cannot believe i`m talking about xmas in august)

`tis the season

well another day another challenge, well 3 actually ~ another xmas card to show ~(well made 6 actually!! ) used the sketch on "fridays sketchers", used "on my list" pennyblack stamp for the "pennyblack saturday challenge" which this week the theme is "no pink", also "my time to craft" challenge this week is a christmas creation!!

as i said i used this cute pennyblack stamp, script cuttlebug folder on red vellum, hot of the press paper, see d`s xmas stamps, and ribbon from my stash. finished with glitter.

it`s good to see my xmas card box starting to fill up!!
