Herr Max

Herr Max is a charming  and busy place in Hamburg. Guess most of my German readers know it. They sell amazing homemade cakes and serve good coffee. Love the light blue wall tiles and the white furniture... a pretty and sweet look.

Hope to go back there soon and have some more of the fantastic cheesecake they make.

see you,
Kay

PS: love the work from  Carl Larsson

I know where I will get my next coat...

Marcel Wanders in action, checking his display

Pretty lady Sylvana Simons

You all know I'm a big Marks and Spencer fan, so I was delighted that they are back here in the Netherlands. Tomorrow they will open a really large flagship store in Den Haag.

Mister Kay and I went to a preview party to have a good look at the new store. They got it all, a nice big food department(heaven). There is also a great range of clothing.

Only 30 minutes from my house to the food hall, lol.

see you,
Kay

Penguin Donkey

I have been fascinated with the Penguin Donkey bookcase for weeks now.

Designed by Ernest  Race in 1963.It was named the Donkey because it had four legs and two panniers. The shelves are just the right size to house Penguin books.

Hope one day I find a vintage one but if not Isokon Plus is selling them... guess I should start saving.

see you,
Kay

Tijdloos

We just got home from a trip to Ikea. I wanted some more BRÃ…KIG cups but they only had the two cups I bought earlier. So I have to try to find the other two somewhere else.

Looks like a rainy weekend coming up, which will give me some time to catch up with some
paperwork.

enjoy your weekend,
Kay
