Visible Image DT card

Today I am showing you a card I have made using one of the stunning character stamps from Visible Image Stamps.

Since Spring is on its way (hopefully!!) I thought I would get Katie out and make a warm, summery card.  I coloured Katie in using my copics.  I love this dp, its warm and summery, but also just a little grungy.  I made a banner using some of the dp, and added seam binding that I ruffled across the card.

And for more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image's facebook group, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.  This month's theme is Anything Goes.  Just remember to use a Visible image stamp on your creation.

Visible Image's Harley Jester set

Today I am showing you a couple of cards I have made using the new stamp set, Harley Jester,  from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

How fab is he?!!!!!!!  Having coloured him using my pens, I created a stipple background.  I created the background using Harlequin background.  I didn't ink the stamp up too heavily so I created a grungy background (or you can simply create the grunge effect using the grunge harlequin background!)  Finally I stamped the sentiment from the set up.

For this CAS card I stamped Harley directly onto the cardstock, and then coloured him with my pens.  I stamped the card suits from the Harley Jester set up and again stamped them directly onto the card, before matting it onto red cardstock.

I went well out of my colour comfort zone for the last card I am sharing with you - pink and orange, 2 of my least favourite colours!  Having coloured Harley in using my pens, I masked him and used distress inks to crated the background.  I used the same distress inks to created the card background, just intensified the colour by wet distressing the cardstock.  Having dried it, I stamped the card suits from the Harley Jester set across in a repeating pattern.  Finally  I stamped the Joker sentiment.

Crafty Sentiments New Release

Crafty Sentiments January rlease is love themed, just in time for Valentines Day.

I coloured this fabulous image, Will You, in using my copics.  I just love her face, so expressive.  I made an easel card using papers from Basic Grey's Kissing Booth range, and added a heart doilly.  I used a laser cut swirl, some flat backed pearls and a bow to embellish the card.  I have kept the embellishments to a minimum to show off the gorgeous image, perfect for those engagements cards or even anniversary cards.

Visible image DT card

Today I am showing you a card I made using Clara from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I LOVE Clara - if I had to pick 1 stamp to go on a desert island with it would be Clara, she is such a dream to colour. Having coloured her in using my pens I went round the outside of her with the splats stamp from the Free your Imagination set.    I stamped the background using the ripped fishnet stamp, and  the sentiment from the Believe stamp set.  Finally I used alcohol inks on a scrap of glossy photo paper, stamped the feather from the Free your Imagination set and cut it out.  I added organza ribbon and a double bow.

And for more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image's facebook group, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.  This month's theme is Anything goes - just remember to use a Visible Image stamp on it.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I made a small gift box, creating the base and lid out of black cardstock.  I stamped the music background in peeled paint ink onto white cardstock, and matted it onto pink and green cardstock. Having stamped and coloured 3 roses, I cut them out and added them to the corner.  Finally I stamped the dream sentiment from Imagine, Dream, Inspire, and matted it onto black cardstock.

A side view of the box ...

I also made a card that was featured in the magazine.
I stamped the bronte script onto cream cardstock using peeled paint distress ink, and stamped the ripped fishnet using olive glimmer mist (I sprayed the mist onto my mat and inked the stamp up from there.  Having stamped and coloured 3 roses, I cut them out and added them.  I matted the card onto pink and black cardstock.

Visible Image DT card

Today I am showing you a masculine I have made using stamps from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie
I love this Visible Image Time After Time set, and it is great for blokes cards.  Having stamped the large watch and wings out, I left them to dry before cutting them out.  I used bronte script, music background, crackled background  to create the background, and machine stitched a rough circle on the kraft cardstock, before adding the wings and watch.  Finally I added a watch charm, tied with a wee bit of twine.

I went for something a bit different - I used the fab cherub mask and inked it up in barn door, vintage photo and walnut stain distress inks.  I then went mad and decoupaged the brown masks onto the red one!!  Having layered the face up I spritzed it with glimmer mist.
I created the background using metallic distress stains, firec brick and vintage photo distress stains.  When it was dry I used sequin waste and inked thruogh it using walnut staindistress ink.  Finally I added some frantage and the key.

That Craft Place Facebook challenge

Its New Years Day and That Craft Place  are having a facebook group challenge :)

my best friend has recently moved house and I made this canvas as a housewarming gift for her.  I primed the canvas with pewter crackle paint and then placed the Tattered Angels butterfly screen on it and sprayed over it with dylusions spray.  Once it had dried I kept the screen in place and inked over it with chipped sapphire distress ink.  Finally i stamped the butterflies and sentiments from Visible image and added the pearls.
