Wedding Wishes

Hi Y'all!!

Well I am back!! I have not posted in a long while due to work and other obligations. I hope you all are doing well. I sure have missed you all and missed crafting. I've had a lot going on since my last post in October. I have a new little granddaughter Ravyn that was born July 12th and I have quit a job to take on another position where I am able to stay at home now. :D  So with that being said I have created a new card for my niece who is getting married in August, she also had a baby last year. She's so precious, too. The card I created is for the International Art & Soul Dies Challenge.

So here is my card,

Very simple yet elegant card. As I said I just started creating again after many months of taking off from card making and doing many other crafting. It was like starting all over again. lol
I have to say I really enjoyed getting a chance to play again, I really needed it.
This card is made with several layers. I have the card base using cream vanilla cardstock and a carol cardstock using the Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty-Five, and of course some beautiful flowers. I also used an old stamp set from Stampin Up - Wedding Elegance, I am so glad I have kept this one definitely comes in handy. (links are posted below where I got some of my supplies)

**To make this card I layered the carol base on top of the cream card base, then layered the first die cut on top of the carol base, the second carol die cut has 3D pop dots on the back to give a raised look and the last die cut I lightly stamped the wedding bells and embossed the "Wedding Wishes" on top of the bells, placed 3D pop dots again on the back and placed down. I added the multi flowers I had from my stash, which were the same colors that were on her wedding invite. I hope she likes it.

Here is the inside of the card - For the inside of the card I added a photo from the
"Save the Date Invite" I thought it was so sweet and definitely added a lovely
personal touch to the inside of the card.

Supplies:
CardStock: Carol cardstock from Create and Craft; Cream/Vanilla cardstock is from CountryCraftCreations
Stamp: Stampin Up - Wedding Elegance
Accessories: Spellbinders Die - Majestic Labels Twenty-Five; Mulberry Flowers are all from Really Reasonable Ribbons.

So I want to invite you all over to part-take in our Die Challenge over at International Art & Soul where we just create to have fun. Don't forget to use your Dies.
Thank you all for stopping by and I will be posting more in the next week.
Hugs,
Debbie 😊

Wedding Collection

Good Morning All,

I hope you all are feeling well. Lately it seems everyone has been coming down with some form of illness sinuses, cold or the flu. To say the least, I have been sick off and on since October. YucK!  So I hope you all are feeling good or getting on the mend. : )

Today at One Stitch At A Time we start a new Challenge #228 - Anything Goes with "Something New". Now this could be Anything New - new baby, new crafty items you received or bought, New Year, New Beginnings (wedding, just married).

Our Sponsor

The Prize

So for this "Something New Challenge", I chose Chocolate Valentine Paper Pack #1 by Panda Bear Designs with Just Married Tickets Digi Stamp by Stitchy Stamps

Before I show you my project I have to tell you I have wanting to do one of these Toilet Paper Roll Mini Album forever, really since last spring when I first saw them on YouTube. I think they are so neat, you have many placed for pictures. And it's not very large so the size is great to give as a gift to someone with pictures inside. I didn't leave a link as you can go on YouTube type in Toilet Paper Roll Mini Album and tons of videos will appear as well as the money card with belli-band.

There are a lot of pictures, so grab a cup of your favorite drink and relax. I hope you like it.
****I want to add - if you have any questions regarding the projects please let me know. I know some of my followers are from other countries and sometimes the wording we use, is different than what may be said in your language.
*** Please leave me a comment and I will be happy to email you.***

Here's my Project -

I made a mini toilet paper roll album and a money card.
I left one of the tickets uncolored so you can see that you can either color or not color.
I think it looks great both ways.

The Wedding Money Card
Card measures 7 1/2 x3.
The belli-band used my ticket shaped scissors
for the edges of the ticket and used Sizzix Ticket Die.

The inside is a Congratulations Stamp from my stash
and a vellum sentiment from Quick Quotes.
I used Vellum dots to adhere the vellum, they show up in the picutre
but don't show so much in person. : /

I placed the belli-band inside so you can see
there is enough room for money.
 The back of the card.

The Wedding Album
(mini toilet paper roll album)
Must WARN you there are a lot of pictures. (hope you like it)
