Happiness is Alterego Tag & Card using Tres Jolie Card Kit

 Good Morning everyone,

Today I have a couple of fun and simple projects for you to create using the December Card, Tag and More Kit. I have the links down below for you and a video tutorial. I hope you enjoy these simple and elegant projects.

December Card, Tag and More Kit

To begin get some scraps together and we are going to place them to create our own background.

Here is what the background looks like after I adhered down my scraps. I placed down one of the chipboard pieces in the lower right hand corner.

Next I added the bunny couple adhering it down by using some foam strips.
I had this pretty chipboard leaf vine in my stash from Tres Jolie chipboard shop and embossed it in gold. Then cut it to add it in various places around the tag.

I adhered the Happiness chipboard piece on top.
And that is all. Now you are finished.

#2 Happy Birthday Tag Card

For this Tag Card you are going to trace one of the chipboard tags on a pattern piece of paper and cut out. Then trace that piece 3 more times to create 4 panels.

Next cut a 1 inch strip and score at 1/2 inch to fold in half.

Cover the front and back of the chipboard tags.

To decorate the tag I embossed the Happy Birthday in Black using the Uniquely Creative stamp set from a past kit. Then I cut the large clock from the chipboard set in half and adhered it down. I loved the dog coffee cup and place foam tape on the back to give a little lift and added some of the pretty chipboard leaves around the top. And that's all, we are done. You can add more of your sentiment inside the card.

Here are photos below on the finished projects.

I hope you received some inspiration from the simple Tag and Tag Card. I really like how both of these Tags turned out.  Hello Crafty Peeps,

I love this kit as it has a ton of chipboard pieces to create some really nice cards, tags and other things, you definitely don't have to worry about running out of them. I have the links throughout the step by step tutorial and I have a video tutorial for you as well. I hope you are inspired by these simple vintage cards.

December 2024 Card, Tag and More Kit

To start with card #1. I tore a piece of the blue colored pattern paper off and adhered it to the another piece of this gorgeous pattern paper. I really like this paper as it has a wonderful vintage vibe.  Then I inked the edges with vintage photo ink. Adhere the panel to the card bas.

Next I placed gesso on the metal feather, set aside to let dry.

Once it's dried I used tarnished brass to paint over the feather.

I used one of the stickers and painted it with the tarnished brass paint. Let dry for a bit.

For the beautiful chipboard clock I sprayed with my vintage photo spray and set aside to dry or you can use a heat gun to dry it but do not get close.

Next I adhered everything together. For more details you can visit the video tutorial linked above.

Card #2.
For this card i used a gold card stock and adhered one of the alterego pattern papers to the top and then adhered the panel to the card base.

Next I added foam tape tot he oval frame

Next I placed the little mouse inside the frame, added some of the flat back pearls around the frame and adhered the lace on the side. This turned out so adorable.

Here is a photo of bother cards, so simple and easy using some wonderful techniques as well. I did add the For You chipboard ephemera to the bottom of each card. These would make perfect cards to go with any gift or send to any family or friends.

To start out I cut 3 pieces of green pattern paper at 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches the red cardstock is cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches these will be your photos mats. Adhere the red mat on top of the green. This layout will use two of the three photo mats.

Here is how I adhered them down for the first layout.

Next I used pieces from the punch out pages and also fussy cut some of the images out from the cut-a-part sheet.

For the second layout I placed the photo mat up in the left side of the pattern paper and again used some of the punch out pieces and pieces I fussy cut out.

Here is what the layout will look like but first we are going to glitter the beautiful chipboard angel.

Fist I place glue around the entire angel and then sprinkle the ultra fine glitter on top. Be sure to tap off the excess glitter and set aside to dry.

Once your angel is dry you can adhere her down to the pattern paper.

3D Nutcracker Busted Canvas for Tres Jolie

Hi Crafty Peeps,

I am so excited to share with my first busted canvas project. For this project I used the November Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie. In this kit we used the 3 Quarter Designs Xmas Magic. I have a video tutorial and links down below, plus step by step tutorial. You can always watch the video for more details.

November Scrapbook Kit

To get started you will need two 10 x 10 canvases. Measure the inside so you can adhere your pattern paper down to the inside. This measured 6 7/8 x 6 7/8 inches. Then place your glue to the inside of the canvas open area and adhere your paper down.

You will do the same thing for the second canvas as well. With your canvases paint the inside of frame area of both of them, as shown below.

Next pick one of the canvases for your top, and paint the top and sides. Set aside to dry.

Once its dry, get your xacto knife and cut one line horizontal and one line vertical in the middle of the canvas.

Then get you scissors and cut in the middle of each flap and you should 8 flaps, as shown below.
For the next part I decided to used glue dots to hold down my flaps as the hot glue wouldn't hold and the flaps kept popping up. The glue dots worked really well. You want to roll the flaps over and place the glue dots (use two glue dots) at the tip of the flap.

Decorate the inside of your canvas. I fussy cut out the train and the solder and placed them inside. Next I did cut the edges off of the canvas you can see here I just away 1/4 inch from the wood and painted. I didn't want any of the white canvas edge showing. I also painted the edges.
Once I was done with decorating the inside I used double back tape 2 inch tape, and adhered it around the border of the canvas, as the hot glue was not working properly.

Adhered on the busted canvas on top and then used a pretty gold ribbon from my stash that is adhered around the seams of the canvases.

I placed a few of the ephemera pieces in the top corners and added in some of the pieces inside. The inside pieces are adhered down to wooden part of the canvas that is like a platform.

I hope you found this Christmas 3D Nutcracker Busted Canvas tutorial inspirational and you get to create one as well. I really enjoyed creating this for Christmas. I will definitely be creating more of these. You can also give these as gifts.
