Graphic 45 Design Team Audition 2016

Hi All,

2016 DT poster FINAL

Oh Gosh, Yes, I have decided to submit an application into Graphic 45 for the DT Call. Like many other paper-crafters like myself I have a LOVE for their paper, stamps and their staples. I just couldn't resist to let another year of "What If's" to pass me by. Year after Year I have let it go and than wonder for the rest of the year, after all, if you don't try you will never know, and sometimes in order to follow your dreams you just got to put yourself out there. So that is what I decided to do.

As some of you know I have just started my YouTube channel, and I have now started using snap-guide which is what Graphic 45 is suggesting we use. I have also just started using instagram, pinterest and facebook accounts. I will be showing a tutorial at the end of this post using Snapguide.

I am sharing 3 of my favorite projects with you today and believe me it was hard to choose cause I wanted to show everything. lol

1. Easter Birdhouse using Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments and Cling Stamp - Botanical Tea

Painted my bird house white; did fussy cutting from the
Sweet Sentiment paper collection; added stickles to my butterflies and flowers;
added lace around the base of the roof and bottom of the house;

****Used Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Cling Stamp and water colored the image. ****

****Showing the Right Side of the Birdhouse****

****Tags pull out for journaling or photos****

****Showing the Left side of the Birdhouse****

2. Christmas card - using Graphic 45 - A Christmas Carol

****Made a raised frame around the sentiment;
used gold leaf around my card along with gold beads

3. A Child's Puzzle - using Graphic 45 Mother Goose

****Showing the first side of the Puzzle. Using Mother Goose page stips and
Playful Postage strips for the edges of the puzzle;
trimmed the edges with mowed lawn distress
paint (Tim Holtz);
Used vintage photo distress ink around the edges of the
puzzle pieces so it gives an old antique feel.
