The side-lying release (SLR) is a bodywork technique by @spinningbabies that can help with pregnancy and labor. It’s a static stretch that involves temporarily softening and enlarging the pelvis to help the baby move into a better position. The SLR can also help with:

Pain relief: The SLR can help ease pain during pregnancy and birth.

Pelvic mobility: The SLR can increase pelvic mobility and balance.

Muscle spasms: The SLR can help release muscle spasms.

Sleep: The SLR can make it easier to sleep during pregnancy.

Labor: The SLR can help address stalls in labor and create longer, softer pelvic floor muscles.
