The Technical Program is put together by the Technical Program Committee. It includes:
- Plenary Sessions
- Plenary sessions feature keynote speakers within the opening session on Tuesday 7 May, the closing session on Thursday 9 May and an intermediate session on Wednesday 8 May.
- Invited Speakers
- Invited speakers are world-class visionaries and business figures delivering their views on key Web topics.
- Paper Sessions
- Paper sessions address novel, challenging and innovative ideas, concepts or systems, reports on real uses with concrete and quantitative results.
- Panel Sessions
- Panel sessions are in an area that is controversial or new and where various paths for progress are still open.
- W3C Sessions
- W3C sessions give a comprehensive view of activities and developments led by the World Wide Web Consortium, for all Web topics.
- Industrial Sessions
- Industrial sessions present visions, corporate or product strategies of Web industrial leaders.
- Poster Presentations
- Presentations and Demonstrations of work in progress with the opportunity to meet the authors.
- Birds of a Feather Sessions (BOFs)
- BOFs are impromptu gatherings organized by anyone who contacts the Conference Organisers with a request for a Birds Of a Feather session during the conference.
