exemplifies Ancient Western Societies. The questions is, what other Ancient

interesting and complex?
Instructions:
1) Use Google to find 1 ancient civilization that you think exemplifies what it means

For Example… Civilization
For a society to be complex enough to be considered a
civilization, it must have the following characteristics: a
complex social structure, and a powerful artistic
tradition.

For example, the Aboriginal civilization of Australia is a

complex society because it had a complex system of
kinship, built around the raising of a child. Every person
knew their role in raising a child relative based on a
shared clan or totem. For example, an uncle who
shared the same totem as a nephew would be
responsible for teaching them about nature.

Aboriginal civilization also has complexity in its art.

Aboriginal art, which has techniques passed down over
generations, was used to express knowledge about
nature, history, and the kinship system described above.
The artwork you see here represents the paths that
ancestors took to hunt and forage.
