Ramon Serrano
I found a job as a truck driver on
craigslist, which pays $19/hour. I
would make $4,256/month, and
$51,072/year.
in day 3 we had to find out and calculate how much we would
have to spend from our monthly pay to rent an apartment.
the monthly rent to the apartment i found is $825 if i live by
my self. and if i roommate with teddy and split the rent we
would each be paying $425 a month.
in day 4 we had to calculate how much we
would spend in bills, food, clothing and my
total came out out to $1,304.
Sample slide 4: Math and
Formulas of one
spreadsheet
Note: this is from a made-up spreadsheet.

I started with $20, and mow lawns for $10/each. So I added the
original $20 to 10 times the number of lawns mowed (23), and ended
up with $250. The formula I used for this was =20+C3*10.

I then divided that money over 2 months to see how much I would
have for the summer and got $125. The formula was =C6/2.

To find how much I could spend on transportation each month I took

10% of that value by multiplying by .1 and got $12.50. The formula
was =C10*.1.

Note: the only days you can use to explain the math for are
days 2,3,4,5,6, and 7. Days 8 and 9/10 are too simple or
complicated to use for this slide.
