Presentation of the lesson: During the presentation of the lesson, using the 3-2-1 activity Pre-recorded video
and Think.Pair.Share, the teacher will explain the topics:
1. Various definitions and explanations of culture
2. Anatomy of culture in terms of its elements and
construction
3. The benefits of Cultural Relativism as a personal belief

Post assessment 5-minute Essay. TASK/S FOR THE DAY:


How can give importance to the different characteristics of culture? The students will be asked to make a case study. Below are
the following instructions:

Task 1. Gather data by (suggestions) (1) conducting a


research using the internet (2) interview a person in your
family who knows or is a member of an indigenous
community.
Task 2. Each group will choose a one particular indigenous
community for their case study.
Task 3. Describe the indigenous group that your group
chose with provided images.
a. Who are they? What do they do? Where did they
come from? What do you know about the?
b. Discuss the way of life of the indigenous group.
(1) Social grouping (do they live in a large group or
small group?
(2) Diet (What do they eat?)
(3) Clothes (what do they wear)
(4) System of writing (do they know how to read and
write?
(5) Religion (do they have a religion?)
c. How will you explain the society and culture of the
indigenous group that you chose as the case study?
d. Write a short reflection and answer the question:
How students should treat indigenous groups? How
did you feel about the culture of the indigenous
people?
Task 3. Put your case study in a Microsoft word.
Format: ARIAL 12, JUSTIFIED, WITH BORDER LINE. Make
sure you write the name of the members at the last page of
the paper.

Task 4. Send it to the LMS Using the CHOSEN INDIGENOUS


GROUP and GROUP NUMBER as your file name.
Ex: MANOBO GROUP 1.
