CONTRIBUTIONS OF A PART
TO WHOLE

Creative ideas come when you

consider the parts of a whole.
EXAMPLE
The headquarters of Samsung Electronics,
Toyota Motors, and Apple Inc. including
its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, and
regional offices are all parts of a whole.
CONTRIBUTIONS OF A PART
TO WHOLE
All divisions and functionaries of
the subsidiary company are all
parts which comprise the main
company as a whole.
Includes:
Administration, personnel and staff,
the accounting and cashier, security,
and the auxiliary

INTERDEPENDENT
Flaws in the organizational structure
that cause breakdowns in
communication or lapses in
responsibility need to be repaired
to facilitate efficiency and
productivity.
Another aspect showing the relations
of the various components to the
whole is the chain process
• must be coherent, supportive,
and consistent with one
another.
An organization’s short, medium, or long-term
plans also constitute a whole with its various time
frames and percentages of accomplishments as
parts. Each period covered with corresponding
percentage of accomplished target should lead to
the attainment of the whole plan.
CREATIVE IMAGINATION
Imagination does not work alone
when it comes to wanting to bring
something to life and allowing it
to step out of your mind.
CREATIVE IMAGINATION
• involves the formation or creation of mental
images
• it is the ability of the mind to transcend its
limits, explore the unseen, and tread the path
it would normally take.
EXAMPLE
Cosmic Religion and Other
Opinions and Aphorisms
• In 1931, Albert Einstein’s
book was published.
Cosmic Religion and Other Opinions and Aphorisms
• he stated his belief on intuition as: “I believe in intuition
and inspiration. At times I feel certain I am right while not
knowing the reason. When the eclipse of 1919 confirmed my
intuition, I was not in the least surprised. In fact, I would
have been astonished had it turned out otherwise.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. For
knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the
entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.
It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.”
Creative imagination plays a vital role in
putting together the various parts of a whole. It
is through the imagination that an image is
created, and its parts identified. Pie chart, bar
graph, graphics, and other illustrations can be
applied to make the presentation of the product
attractive.
EXAMPLE OF PART OF A WHOLE
• components of gadgets such as smart
phones and laptops
• the divisions of a business enterprise
like fast-food chain
• the segments or an industrial product
such as a tractor

INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS MADE OR
CREATED THROUGH CREATIVE
IMAGINATION AND INTUITION?
The use of creative imagination is not only limited
to the creation of goods and services. It can also
help you solve problems and help you come up
with new ideas and explore possibilities.
