About JEE Main exam
• Joint Entrance Examination – Main or simply JEE Main, is a route to various undergraduate
engineering and architecture courses.

• Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards.
This Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
till 2018.

• It is the gateway to institutes and universities like –


• National Institutes of Technology (NITs)
• Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs)
• Government funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs)

• Along with this, people who qualify or clear the cut-off of the JEE-Main are eligible to take
the JEE Advanced examination, qualifying which, opens up door for the Indian Institutes of
Technology (IITs).

About NEET Exam
 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – NEET is the only entrance test for those who wish to
get admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, and other medical courses in India.

In 2021, around 16 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam out of which 50-55% of
candidates had qualified the exam. After qualifying, NEET candidates will become eligible to get
admission in approximately 88,000 seats across the country.

• BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
• From this year onwards admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program will be offered based on
NEET scores.
