3. Lesson/Unit Name - Motion – Equations of motion by general method and graphical method,
Uniform circular motion and numericals
A. Learning Outcomes (Specific to the lesson mapped with NCERT learning outcomes):
1. Students will get interest in Science especially in Physics subject.
2. Students can identify the state of rest and state of motion from graphical analysis.
3. Students can differentiate between uniform and non uniform motion from graphical
analysis.
4. Students can calculate speed from the slope of s-t graph of uniform motion.
5. Students can calculate acceleration from the slope of v-t graph of uniformly accelerated
motion.
6. Students will know about the uniform circular motion and can give examples of it.
C. Topic of the lesson for presentation by the students (once in a week by rearranging
classroom setting suitable for group work):
Measuring the distance and displacement in a straight and circular motion to explain the concept
of distance and displacement.
E. Activities/Experiments/Hands-on-learning/Projects:
To calculate the velocity and acceleration of objects having different mass and to draw their velocity-time
and acceleration-time graph
F. Interdisciplinary linkage and infusion of Life Skills, Values, Gender Sensitivity and
Environmental Awareness:
H. Assessment items for measuring the attainment of learning outcomes in the class
and as home assignments (Teacher should plan Assessment Items and link the same
with learning outcomes mentioned in Para A):
After identifying the slow learners the individual remedial teaching will be planned.
Concept Maps for easy Understanding the difficult concepts and explaining the difficult topics
will be discussed again.
