THE JOURNEY
Lea Salonga
Half the world is sleeping, When they're shining on my life
half the world's awake I can see a better day
half can hear their hearts beat I won't let the darkness in,
half just hear them break what a journey it has been.

I am but a traveler, in most every way I have been to sorrow

Ask me what you want...to know I have been to bliss
Where I'll be tomorrow,
What a journey it has been I can only guess
And the end is not in sight
But the stars are out tonight Through the darkest desert
and they're bound to guide my way Through the deepest snow,
Forward always forward, I go..
What a journey it has been
and the end is not in sight What a journey it has been
But the stars are out tonight And the end is not in sight
and they're bound to guide my way But the stars are out tonight
and they're bound to guide my way
When they're shining on my life
I can see a better day When they're shining on my life
I won't let the darkness in, I can see a better day
what a journey it has been... I won't let the darkness in,
what a journey it has been...
Forward, always forward...
Onward, always up... What a journey it has been...
Catching every drop of hope
In my empty cup
