     INTRODUCTION
     “Serious of individual session which render first hand knowledge
    and practice.”
     Workshop in general is a place where group of people work
    together to produce new item or try to solve a problem in a old
    item.
     Some way, education workshop is a type of meeting of different
    people to find out a solution for a problem.
     DEFINITION
     Work shop define as assemble group of 10 to 25 person who
    share a common interest or problem . They meet together to
    improve their individual and skill of a subject through intensive
    study ,research, practice and discussion.
     Workshop is a meeting during which experience people in
    responsible position come together with expert and consultant
    to find solution for the problem that cropped up in the course
    of their work and that they have had difficulty in dealing own.
     It is a large group discussion method.
    purpose
     Allows group of individual to meet over an extended period of
    time, in a variety of session
     Give individual opportunity to received help from other
    participants and resource people
     Provide learning situation based on interests and needs of
    participants
     Gives individual in the group a chance to workout their own
    specific programs
     Provides group learning situation for the participants.
     Organization of a workshop
    1. Designing the workshop comprised the following steps;
    -Establishing objectives
    -participate must be able to learn or do something
    -related content of workshop closely to what occurs on the job- keep
    it practical
    -considered what information should be learned before during &
    after the workshop
    -determine whther practice is necessary during the workshop.

     2. Develop the basic plan:
    -Determine
    i)what will be presented
    ii)what will be discussed
    iii) what will be practiced
    -Considered subgroup activity and size
    - consider material to be prepared for parcipants
    i)hand book
    ii) discussion guides
    iii)practice instruction

    -determine what equipment will be nneded:
    i) chalkboard
    ii) overhead visual
    iii) demonstration devices
    iv) films
    v) determine room arrangements
    3.Select the best method
    4.Select techniques with schedule and budget in mind
    5.Determine who should do what
    6.Expand outline
    7.Meet resources person as needed
    8.Reviewed with organization commitee and tasks delegated of them
    Evaluation: planning for methods of assessment of the workshop and its outcome.
    ADVANTAGES OF WORKSHOP
     Workshop are participative
     Participants identify their interests & need and the learning
    situation are also based on them
     Large member can be accommodated
     Workshop are flexible
     Emphasis is placed on improving individual understanding and
    proficiency
     Theory and practice may be combine
     Individual are encourage to formulate their ideas and tasks, and
    assistance is available
    Disadvantages of workshop
     Much planning and organization is needed because it has limited time.
     Some participate may be difficult to follow with this format
     Workshop may be overused
     Selection of resourced person may be difficult
     Last time changes and emergencies may affect the learners
     Session may be productive or effectively interrelated
