This investigation aims to assess the
level of performance of teachers and
relate it to the competency in the OJT
of fourth year IT students of Centro
Escolar University Malolos.The study is
to be conducted during the first
semester of academic year 2017-2018
This aims to determine the
relationship between the screen
time and visual acuity of school-
aged children studying in Centro
Escolar Integrated School. The
study will be conducted on July
2017.
Criteria in writing specific problems:
Must be in question form
Must define the population
and the sample of the study
Must identify the variables
Must be empirically testable
Types of Research Question
• Factor-isolating or factor-naming
questions
• “What is this?”
• Isolate, categorize, describe, or name
factors and situation
Types of Research Question
• Factor-Relating questions
• “What is happening here?”
• To determine relationship that have been
identified
• Usually used for non-experimental type of
research

• Situation-relating questions
• “What will happen if…”
• Usually yield hypotheses testing or
experimental study designs in which the
researcher manipulates the variables to
see what will happen

• Situation-producing questions
• “How can I make it happen?”
• Establish explicit goals for actions,
develop plans, or prescriptions to achieve
goals, and specify conditions under which
these goals will be accomplished.
