organization in order to attain organizational
objectives (Sapre, 2002, p.102)

• Bush (2011) has categorized the models of


educational management into six clusters and
finally has linked these six models with nine
different leadership styles in the context of
educational organizations

APPLYING THE SUBJECTIVE
MODELS IN SCHOOL
If we seen in the school management , inter-formal model and
subjective model is found to be formal model achieving the
goal, while subjective models are looking at people or
members in the organization. In addition, formal models
for the development of organizations while subjective
models are more conscious of the values available in
each individual.
Usually a principal who is taking or applying subjective this
model will object (rejects) structure in the school.
APPLYING THE SUBJECTIVE
MODELS IN SCHOOL

The First example, of the use of this subjective


model in school management is such a disciplinary
problem such as late to school, not according to
school rules and so on. Perhaps teachers have
their own views and agree with any decision for
the problem, but perhaps at another time the
perception of the teacher will change. It is a
subjective in making any decision it does not have
objective and structured.
APPLYING THE SUBJECTIVE
MODELS IN SCHOOL
Second example,In a teacher's meeting, as far as
the administrators adopted subjective this model
will endeavour to ask for views or opinions of
each teacher. This is because the administrators
are more conscious of individuals in his school. An
administrator also does not follow his school
structure as he is more conscious of an individual
or a member or teacher in his organization.
APPLYING THE SUBJECTIVE
MODELS IN SCHOOL
The third example, every teacher has their own goals
to be achieved for each student during every year of the
school. For example in the SPM team in school. Each form
five subject teacher will implement different programmes
and activities to enhance the achievement of subjects in
their respective committee. Each of the programmes
implemented is a subjective models, but the goal is in
line with the goals and projections that the school
wishes to achieve to increase school achievements.
