    BRIEF COURSE CURRICULAM:


    Arka Renewable Energy College is an approved
    community College of IGNOU and Technical
    Education Department (TAFE), Australia. The
    course curriculum has been jointly formulated by
    the Community College, IGNOU and TAFE.

    WE OFFER:-
    One year Diploma in Renewable Energy (800 hrs)
    Two month Certificate Course on Solar Energy(150
    hrs) non credit
    Three days short term Course on Solar Photo
    Voltaic System (24 hours) non credit-Proposed

    The pass out students of Diploma Course shall be treated as RE


    Engineers capable to design, install and maintain small and large
    size off grid and grid connected Solar PV , Biomass or hybrid
    systems and power plants.
    The pass out students of Certificate Course (150 hours) shall be
    capable to install, maintain and repair extra low voltage DC Solar
    System, small Roof Top AC/DC Solar PV Power Plants, Biomass or
    hybrid systems .
    The Students completing short course shall work as field level
    technicians in extra low voltage DC solar system and lighting
    devices.

    Former Project Director, Tripura Renewable Energy Development


    Agency. Having 25 years of field experience in Solar photovoltaic.
    Executed a large number of PV Projects in Tripura. Presently

    Having 10 years of experience in installation and maintenance of


    solar PV devices. He worked in M/S Suntechnic for a long time and
    executed a large no. of Solar PV Projects.

    and servicing of the same.

    In addition the Organisation has three Laboratory technicians


    who are competent in installation and maintenance of Solar PV

    Solar PV modules character and properties-studies.

    Solar PV System assembly and Installation
    Charge Controller and Inverter installation, fault findings and repairing.
    Battery maintenance and servicing

    Lighting fixture servicing and replacement.

    230 volt AC circuits Study , wave character, frequency. Measuring Inverter


    output and Inverter grid inter phase.
    Carrying out standard tests of Solar Energy Products.

    SHORT TERM SOLAR TECHNICIANS COURSE-PRACTICAL
