Sosete din granny squares

To make a slipper you will have to crochet 7 granny squares. It is better to use strong
yarn. For example, Red Heart Super saver 4 ply worsted weight yarn. Crochet them tight. All
squares can be solid, or make the top front square more lacy and multicolored like mine.
Step on the measuring tape and measure the length of your foot. Let's assume it is
equal to 24 cm / 9.5 in. Divide that length by 2. It means that a diagonal of the granny square
has to be equal to 12 cm or 4.75 in. To form a sole of a slipper two of them will be necessary
to align.

Sew or crochet seven granny squares together according to a crochet slipper pattern
scheme. If you sew them, seams and a slipper itself will be a little softer than the one with
crocheted seams. Crocheted seams will keep shape better.
Now it is time to assemble a slipper. Arrows with numbers (1 - 7) show which sides of
the squares have to be sawn together.
To make slippers look finished, crochet an edging around the edges. Repeat 1 single
crochet and 5 chain stitches along the whole length of the top part. Here is one more variant of
an easy edging. Repeat 5 single crochets, 1 picot stitch along the edge.

Materials:
About two 1.75 ounce (50 gram) skeins of sock yarn (or fingering weight yarn)
Size G (4.25mm) crochet hook (or size to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 5 sts x 5 rows = 2.54 cm in single crochet. (Please be sure to check your gauge. I tend
to need a larger hook than most patterns call for, so my patterns tend to call for a larger hook
than you might need.)
Chain 16 to work on 15 sts. This makes a 7.62 cm wide cuff for ankle socks. If you
want a bigger cuff, just add stitches.
R1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook, and in each remaining ch across (15 sts). Ch 1, and turn.
R2: Sc in each back loop only, across (15 sts). Ch 1, and turn.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 8 inches (20.32 cm), or 1/2 inch (1.27cm) smaller
than foot width.
Sew short ends together to form a tube. I slip stitch across so I don't have to cut the
yarn, and re-attach it. (The seam will be the back of the sock.)
Sc around for 2 rounds (36 sts each round for the size I'm making here).
Sc across front half of tube (18 sts). Chain 18, and attach on the other side of the tube.
(The space between the cuff and the chain is where the heel will go later.)
Sc around front sts and back chain (36 sts).
Sc around until piece measures 6 inches (15.24cm), or 1 1/2 inches (3.81cm) before
toe decrease (excluding cuff).
Decrease 1 st on each side (that's 2 sts per round) for 1 1/2 inches (3.81cm) (it was
about 7 rows for my sock).
Attach yarn at heel opening. Sc around once.
Sc around decreasing 1 st on each side for 1 1/2 inches (3.81cm). (You make the heel
the same way as the toe decrease.)
Sew toe and heel seams.

Ciorapi crosetati

Sosete 1

Calcai: Lucram 10 randuri, dus-intors, de picioruse mici, numai portiunea de 27 ochiuri,
destinata calcaiului.
Dupa care, impartim numarul de ochiuri la 3 (27:3=9). Vom avea 3 parti.
ochiuri;
ochiuri;......etc.etc....
Se croseteaza 15 randuri pana se formeaza calcaiul.

Putem folosi orice model dorim.
Continuam in felul acesta

Basic Slipper Socks

I wear a size 8 and have an average width foot, but these are easy to size and I’ve given you
instructions for Small, Medium and Large. If you foot is narrower, you can adjust the
amount of increases in Round 4. The pattern includes an increase of 8 in Round 4, but
I would only increase by 4 for a narrower foot or I would add one more Round of
increases for a larger foot. It’s a slipper sock after all, so pretty forgiving on exact
measurements
Size: Slipper measures approximately 8.5” around center of foot at widest part.
Small: US Women’s 6-7; 6.5” from center heel to toe.
Medium: US Women’s 8-; 7.5” from center heel to toe.
Large: US Women’s 10-11; 8.5” from center heel to toe.
Materials: Worsted weight yarn, I used Red Heart Super Saver: Main Color ~ 150 yards;
Color 2 ~ 50 yards; Hook USH/5.00 mm
Gauge: 15 hdc; 10 rows = 4”
Notes:
Weave ends as you work
Beginning ch1 does not count as stitch
Number in ( ) at end of round indicates the number of stitches in that round
Work instructions in [ ] or between *, the designated number of times
Join Rounds with slip stitch to beginning stitch
You can fasten off at each color change or carry the unused yarn along the inside to minimize
weaving ends
Foot: Join each round with sl st to first st of round. Start each round in the join.
R1: With Color 1, ch 2 (does not count as st), 8hdc in 2nd ch from hook, join. (8)
R2: Ch 1, 2hdc in each st around, join. (16)
R3: Ch 1, [2hdc, hdc] repeat around, join. (24)
R4: Ch 1, [2hd, hdc next 2] repeat around, join. (32)
