Part 1: Business Thesis Exercise


What is the problem you are proposing to solve? (one sentence –
simple and short as possible)
Creating deliverables can be time-consuming, yet they are essential across most industries.
Who is the customer?
Product/project managers, marketing specialists, and design professionals who will subscribe to
tools that can efficiently create deliverables.
What is your solution?
We propose a AI-powered deliverable design assistant that can generate content-based
deliverable layouts, or optimize current designs through making instructable coherent design
choices and highlighting important contents.
Why would they buy it?
Many customers complain about spending too much time making deliverables but they still
don’t look good. Our AI assistant saves time, reduces human formatting errors, and creates
layouts with good aesthetic tastes with expert knowledge of visual formatting.

deliverable takes a lot of time.

• b. How much time do you think you waste on revisiting deliverable design per day?
• c. What are the top three components of deliverable that is the most time consuming?
• d. Tell me about the last occasion you got frustrated by (one of the challenges answered)?

• e. What tools or methods have you tried in the past to speed up deliverable creation, and how
effective were they?

• Key (3-5) questions to ask to test hypothesis #2
• a. Have you ever paid for or considered paying for products that can accelerate/optimize deliverable designs.
• b. Approximately how much have you paid on the past for such products?
• c. What is the last product you considered trying but not in the decided to purchase?
• d. What is the reason for not purchasing that product?
• e. On the scale of 1 to 10, how much are you willing to spend on deliverable, or presentation, workflow optimizations.

• 3. Hypothesis #3 My customers are willing to trust AI-powered products enough to use our deliverable assistant.

• a. Have you ever used AI-powered products?
• b. To the scale of 1 to 10, how much trusts do you put in AI generated results?

• d. Under what conditions are you willing to try a now technology based solution?
• e. On the scale of 1 to 10, how much are you willing to rate our AI based solution?
