    JOURNAL
    DAY 1

    On September 16, I began an exciting new chapter my nursing


    career by performing my first community service in Artacho, Sison,
    Pangasinan. The excitement was intense/deeply because this was my first
    time taking on a duty outside of school, making the experience both
    exciting and full of new possibilities.

    We were told to meet at the school at 7:30 AM, and by


    8:00AM, We had arrived at Artache Barangay hall which was the plan for
    orientation, Our coordinator began the day w/ a comprehensive orientation,
    throughly describing the responsibilities we would assume, involving/
    specially how to conduct through assessments and interviews w/our clients
    and patients.

    This orientation was important because it provided us with


    knowledge we needed to approach our task confidently. After the briefing,
    the barangay officials greeted us and directed us to the Families we were
    assigned to assess. These task were a vital or important aspect of our
    activities since they allow us to directly engage w/ the community and apply
    our talents in O meaningful and Impactful way.
