    STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

    INTRODUCTION
    To begin my introduction with, myself Shefali Parashar, an Indian national bearing the passport number
    V49200226, born on July 31, 1993 in Kurukshetra region of Haryana. I am writing this statement of
    purpose to express my sincere desire to study in International Business University for the course Master
    of Business Administration- Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It was dream to study in
    Canada and IBU’s global reputation and academic excellence makes me choose this university to follow
    my dream. Thus I am applying for the above mentioned course in IBU for the Jan 2025 intake.

    EDUCATION HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE


    Briefing about my educational history, I have completed my schooling in the school affiliated to Central
    Board of Secondary Education in the year 2011 with non-medical stream in which I scored an overall
    percentage of 69.25%. Soon after completing my schooling, I got admitted to Kurukshetra University for
    the Bachelor of Technology course which I qualified in year 2015 with 77.73% marks. Since I am quite
    fond of studying so to continue my passion, I got enrolled myself in Master of Technology course in the
    same university which I completed in the year 2017 with the appealing score of 74.5%. After completing
    my studies, I got an opportunity to work as Hardware and IT Technician in Khurana Forex Private Limited
    and I joined that in the year 2017 and later I got promoted to Senior Hardware and IT Technician in the
    year 2019 where I am still working for the same role. I want to study further and it was my dream to
    study in Canada and this is the reason I applied for the MBA course in the IBU.

    WHY CHOOSING MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION


    Since I have always had a strong passion for learning and acquiring knowledge, I have decided to pursue
    a Master of Business Administration (MBA) even after completing my master’s degree. This decision
    stems from several factors. I have been working as a hardware and IT technician since 2017, and despite
    my dedication and experience, I have remained in the same role with the minimal salary increment
    throughout this period. I believe that an MBA will provide me with the additional skills and opportunities
    needed to advance in my career and achieve my professional goals. Besides this, doing an MBA from IBU
    will help me with broader subject knowledge, increasing earning potential for me, career advancement
    and networking opportunities and many other benefits. It will help me to get better placement
    opportunities which will help me in career growth and financial stability. Also personal development will
    take place which will help to participate effectively in this global competitive world of corporate.

    WHY CHOOSING INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS UNIVERSITY??


    Studying at International Business University offers several appealing benefits to international students
    and my decision of studying is based on these reasons only. The quality education, practical exposure
    given to its students, global reputation, career placement opportunities makes it a top pick for the
    international students seeking study in Canada. I have researched about many institutions in India and
    Canada as well but IBU’s reputation, name for quality education and other factors forced me to choose
    this college over any other for my further studies. University provides diverse course offerings, student-
    centered and student- friendly atmosphere, student’s accommodation which makes it an attractive
    destination for international students. Also it helps students with placement opportunities, practical and
    internship trainings, Strong Industry Connections and Supportive Learning Environment. One of the
    major reason to go for this university is that it is affordable and fits perfectly to my budget. IBU’s policy
    of focusing on applied study and practical knowledge make its students capable of creating their own
    space in the global competitive world and compete effectively with the skills and knowledge they got
    during their study tenure.

    WHY TO CHOOSE CANADA OVER ANY OTHER COUNTRY


    It was my dream to study in Canada but due to certain situations, I could not pursue it before. Since
    now I got the chance to follow my dream, I don’t want to miss this opportunity. From very long time, I
    wanted to study in Canada for my higher studies because of its multicultural environment, high quality
    education, student friendly atmosphere and placement opportunities it provides. This will not only help
    me building a good career and earning me financial independence but also provides me with skillset
    which will enhance my personality and help me in personal and social growth. So overall studying from
    Canada will have multiple benefits to me in regards of career growth, financial freedom and personality
    development. Multicultural environment of Canada will help me to know the different cultures closely
    and I will be able to connect with them as Canada is the hub of international studies where students
    from all over the world come to pursue their studies. In the nutshell, choosing Canada is the best
    decision to continue my studies further.

    CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AFTER COMPLETING MY MBA FROM IBU


    After graduating with MBA degree from IBU, I can have the exposure to work in multiple top ranked
    multi-national companies in India and worldwide. I can work as an IT Analyst, Functional Consultant,
    Software developer, Software Engineer, Data Analyst and many other roles in reputed multinational
    companies in India like Delloite, Accenture, Microsoft, Infosys and many other. Being an MBA Graduate
    from IBU will provides me with ample of opportunities which will boost my career and help me in
    earning financial freedom. I will be able to compete globally with the knowledge and skills I will get
    during my study period in IBU from the practical opportunities, experiments and research projects.

    MY PLANS AFTER COMPLETING MBA FROM IBU


    Once my MBA degree is completed, I will return to India. I have no intention to stay in Canada after
    completion of my studies. I have my family and friends here and I am closely connected to my roots. I
    cannot stay far away for such a long time from my family. Being a married women, I have the
    responsibilities of my husband, my in-laws and my family which I will have to fulfill. So definitely, I will
    return to India, my home country post completion of my studies. Also, I will have the exposure to work
    with reputed multinational companies in India which will lead to my career growth and financial
    stability.
    So I hope you will understand my dreams and intentions of studying in IBU and Canada and will consider
    my application for the same.
