WRITING TASK 1: MAP VOL5

The diagram shows how the Ground floor changed during a period of 9 years from 2001 to 2009.

It is clear that this library changed considerablely over the period shown with the conversion of small
tables into many large desk and newspapers and periodicals was turned into films and DVDs.

Looking first at the centre part, some small tables were knocked down and replaced by some larger
tables in 2009. Besides, in the left-hand side, Self and History were narrowed and transformed into many
small parts including Law, Economics, Kitchen, Self-help, Fiction and History. On the other side, having a
significant changed that newspapers and periodicals was replaced by Films and DVDs. Additionally, it is
the appearance of some new computers in the bottom right-hand corner. Eventually, there was no
change in the Librarian’s Desk, Entrance and Stairs.

In short, the Ground Floor of a Library become more convenient with considerable changes.

WRITING TASK 1 : Liverton

The provided map illustrates the different layouts of Livertor docks between 1980 and now.

It is dramatically changed over the period shown with the emergence of new bridge and new
establishment of Ship Museum.

In the center of Liverton docks is a river with the devastation of some ships turned into Ship Museum.
Besides, the part in the north of the river was destructed and has been built new education centre, kid’s
playground and Flood Barrier. It doesn’t stop there, there was an appearance of the sailing club that has
recently been newly built.

In the south of the river, the most significant change is the erection of the River Walk. Along the south of
it, there is an addition of residence parts like Hotel, Apartments and Parking.

The map details how the town named Willington changed in the years 1780,1860 and 2000.

Looking from an overall pespective, it is clear that the village became more crowded with amount of
residents base on a lot of new houses, a bridge, sport field or school.There is only the river was still
there.

In 1780, it’s quite remote with a little bit homes about 100 houses and this village was surounded by a
lot of trees and farms.By 1860, some farms and forestry were diminished and replace by some resident’s
house that had more than 2 times in 1780.Plus, it was appearance of a bridge over the river.

In 2000, the number of homes increased sharply to 500. The farms and the forest were entirely
vanish.There was a lot of construction like : schools , sport fireds and variety shops along of the river.
