Upon completion of this subject, students should be able to
1. understand fundamentals in international project management
2. analyze risks such as political, economic, social-cultural, and technological issues of a
project operated in an international environment.
3. be familiar with techniques such as cost analysis; time management, quality
management; and procurement management

7.1 Knowledge
1. UNDERSTAND definitions and concepts: Know key facts, terms and concepts from the
manual/guidance. Understand the concepts, principles, processes, approach,
organizational factors of project management and roles.
2. REMEMBER scholarly resources related to course topics;

7.2.1 Professional skills


3. APPLY: be able to apply key concepts relating to the syllabus area for a given scenario,
in Leading diversity, Integration Management, Scope Management, Cost and process
management, Risk Management, Time Management, Quality Management, and
Procurement Management.
4. ANALYZE: be able to analyse and distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate
use of the method/guidance for a given scenario situation. Analyze and evaluate various
risk exposures.
5. EVALUATE: be able to evaluate the diversities and complexities of factors and can
explain how these factors influence the justification, design and implementation of a
managerial approach at each perspective in the organization; to evaluate all kinds of
insurance (property, casualty, etc.).
6. CREATE an atmosphere where the questions of risk management and insurance may be
discussed thoroughly and where diverse views may be expressed freely
7. ORGNIZE: able to organize your team to work in dynamic collaboration through
completing group-based projects.

10 Module’s description
This course is focused in providing knowledge in international project management, especially
fundementals of project management; to analyze risks such as political, economic, social-
cultural, and technological issues of a project operated in an international environment; to be
familiar with techniques such as cost analysis; time management, quality management; and
procurement management.
